Kaz's Titanic Story

Chapter 15

It was early in the morning and Kaz sat down on a crate and stared at the ocean which caught Yeager's attention.

Kaz, what's wrong?, Yeager said as he sat next to him.

I can't believe that I finally got the answers to what happened that tragic night when I saw my parents for the last time, Kaz said as he looked at the post card that his parents gave him.

Yeah, I'm glad that we got answers to what happened that night and I'm sorry for your loss Kaz, Yeager said as he hugged him.

Thanks Yeager, I'm glad to have you guys as my family, Kaz said as he hugged him back.

Later that night, Kaz was having a nightmare and he woke up scared and traumatized which caught the attention of Yeager.

Kaz, what happened?, Yeager said as he brought him into a hug.

I-I had a nightmare about the night I saw the Titanic sink and t-the last time I saw my parents, Kaz said as he broke down in tears which made Yeager hug and comfort him.

Shh, it's going to be alright Kaz, I'm here, Yeager said as he wiped the tears from his eyes and kissed him on the forehead.

Yeager decided to sleep with Kaz and he said goodnight Kaz, I'll always be here for you.

Goodnight Yeager, I love you, Kaz said as he hugged him.

I love you too Kaz, Yeager said as he hugged him back and went to sleep.

The next morning, Yeager woke up and saw Kaz still sleeping.

Hey Yeager.

Hey Tam.

Is Kaz going to be ok?, Tam said with concern.

Yeah, he's going to be alright Tam. He just had a nightmare about the night that he saw Titanic sink and the last time he saw his parents, Yeager said sadly.

I feel bad for him Yeager, Tam said as she hugged him.

Yeah, I feel bad for Kaz too. He's not the only one who lost someone close to him, Yeager said as he looked at his family holo picture.

Yeah, and he's not alone. He will always have us as his family.

Yeah, and I'm glad that he got the answers to the sinking of the Titanic and the death of his parents.

I agree, Ismay deserved it, Tam said as she ripped up another picture of him.

As Yeager and Tam were talking, Kaz woke up.

Hey Kaz, I heard about the nightmare that you had last night I'm sorry you had to witness the death of the Titanic and your parents, Tam said as she hugged him.

It's ok Tam, I have a new family now and its you guys, Kaz said as he hugged her back.

Yeager is glad that Kaz got the answers for the death of his parents and the sinking of the Titanic. And he hugged both of his team members that he cared about so much.
