Silent guardian of the skies,
Giving light, illuminating the night,
Tell me now,
Are you lonely?
What is it moon, that you seek?
Gazing from up above the mountain peaks?
Looking down, on lovers kiss,
Can you feel the emptiness?
You are strong, or so it seems...
Though we both know there's something you're not willing to speak.
Could there be something under the brilliance of your glow?
Have even you not realized that bitterness grows?
It must be hard, it must be hell,
Watching the young couples as they passionately embrace,
Such as some lowly outcast, who knows only the love seen through a television's glass.
But from mortal fools- who would expect any less?
But you, bright shining moon,
How could you fall so far?
How long will you contiune to ignore solituide's scar?
Will you finally admit defeat?
Give up the waiting, let go your fear,
And finally live your dreams.
