I'm sorry if any of the Greek is incorrect; I tried to use the English to Greek Dictionary as much as I could.
I started this book on Oct. 5th, 2018, and I finished it on April 7th, 2020. I've been doing some editing so that's why it wasn't immediately published. Honestly, it's been such a wild ride. Monica wasn't even in the original plan--I just thought her up one night and decided to create a secondary plot for the book.
This whole book spawned from a single scene--ironically, one that didn't even make it into the story. It was of a girl helping an old woman across the street, and the woman deciding to pass her powers down onto her. The old was woman was Artemis, and she was dying. In that story universe, gods die of old age and pick someone to become the new god of that domain. But I decided not to use that plot.
Also, shoutout to my sister who bugged me to finish the epilogue--I really struggled with getting the perfect ending.
