Sam's p.o.v

The light from my window blinded me before getting out of bed. I hated mornings enough but this morning, I awoke to the sound of my mom and dad arguing, or more of fighting. They never use words to settle things and they never realize that me- an 8th grade boy is right on the floor above them. Actually they probably do realize that. They just don't care.

I finally decided to get up out of bed after laying down for about 10 mins, listening and waiting for another thing to fall, or another bump to shake the unsteady house.

I must have gotten up too fast cause my sight went black and I saw stars. Thats been happening a lot lately, but I don't really think anything of it. Plus even if I told someone about it, they wouldn't care. Hell, the only people I could tell would be my parents. But they would just tell me to take some meds and be more careful or something.

I stood up and walked slowly to my closet to pick out some clothes to put on. I got out a black baggy T-shirt that said "take chances" On the chest area and then I went to my pants area and picked out a pair of white skinny jeans with a rip on the right thigh and the left knee and a smaller rip on both sides of the ankles, to match with the white letters on the shirt. I also got out a white denim jacket and black tennis shoes with grey stripes down the side.

I picked up my clothes and walked to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready. I had took one the night before but I felt the need of another one.

Right before I stepped in the shower my mom yelled throughout the house "hurry up and get ready samuel, your already late for school!!"

OH SHIT! I forgot I had school today!!

Thank you for reading this chapter. I know it's kinda bad and boring but it'll hopefully get better!! I have a lot of amazing ideas for this story!! 🖤🖤🥀
