Jungkook spent the next few weeks trying to get close to Taehyung. The boy's shell was harder than a turtle's shell. Every Jungkook would try to make him talk about his younger self the boy would shy away and not respond.

Jungkook did not mind though any of it though because he knew Taehyung needed time. Jungkook completely understood but sometimes he'd wish that Taehyung was more open.

He'd gone to Taehyung's place to eat together a few times and although Taehyung would hesitate, he would still let the younger boy get in.

Jungkook got out of his apartment at 8 am with a yellow sticky note that said:

Good morning Taehyung, have a wonderful day! Good luck at your flower shop today and if you have time then come to the pastry shop later. Don't forget that you are enough and you are loved, gorgeous! - jjk

He slipped it through Taehyung's door and headed towards the cafe. "Good morning, Jungkook! I have your breakfast ready so just put your bag in the back and get your breakfast." Seoyun, the pastry owner said.

Jungkook smiled and said thanks. "Where is Somi? Is she running late again?" Jungkook asked as he took his breakfast and sat on a table. Seoyun turned to Jungkook and nodded. "You know how she is every day" She shook her head.

"Mom, is my name being gossiped?" Somi came through the door with her school uniform on. "There she is," Seoyun chuckled and started walking towards the pastry to give it to Somi.

"Oppa, I actually did really good on my quiz yesterday thanks to you!" She sat next to Jungkook. He put down the pastry he was eating and smiled. "Really? Well, I'm glad you did."

"We might have to pay you from now on since you always help her with her school work," Seoyun said as she gave the pastry to Somi. "Nona, you don't have to do that and you know it. Besides, you give me breakfast every morning." Jungkook said.

So, the time passed by and Somi left for school and Jungkook went back to work. When it was almost closing time, Taehyung came through the door looking ever so beautiful in Jungkook's eyes.

"Welcome to Seo--"

Jungkook stopped mid-sentence when he saw Taehyung walk in. He smiled and walked towards Taehyung. "Hey, hyung. How was your day at your shop today?" He asked as he got comfortably close to Taehyung.

Taehyung who was still timid near Jungkook stepped back because of his reflexes but showed a faint smile. "It was alright." He said with a hushed voice. Taehyung pulled a flower from his bag and moved his hand towards Jungkook.

Jungkook looked from Taehyung to the flower on Taehyung's hand. "This is for you. I thought it was very beautiful and it made me think of you." Taehyung shyly said. Jungkook blushed at the words.

He reached his hand and grabbed the flower from Taehyung's hand. "Thank you, hyung." He smelled the flower and smiled. "Are you lovebirds going to stand there all night? We have to close the shop." Seoyun said from the back.

Jungkook blushed harder and walked away. Taehyung put his bag on the counter and began helping as well. As they closed the shop and said goodnight to Seoyun, the two walked towards their apartment side by side.

"How was your day, Jungkook?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook still got shocked every time Taehyung would say something to start a conversation because just a few weeks ago, the boy would not even look at him.

"My day was normal like always." He replied looking up the sky. "You know, the sky looks beautiful tonight," Jungkook said. Taehyung followed by looking up the sky as well.

"And I would say you look just as beautiful but even the moon and the stars would disagree because you are far more beautiful than any of the stars and moon in the universe combined," Jungkook said as he looked at Taehyung. The boy did not say anything but stared back at Jungkook. Although it was dark, you could sense Taehyung had a rosy cheek and his ears were red as well.

"Ahh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it come out. I thought I was saying it in my mind." As if that made any sense he thought. "It's okay," Taehyung replied. Another thing, Taehyung did not respond to any compliment. He always just stared and blush.

They walk in their apartment complex both blushing. As they approached their rooms they shared goodnight and went in their own rooms. Jungkook would love for there to be a goodnight kiss one day.
