It's not any fun when you're home alone and you know your sisters are having the time of their lives. Mom took them to a carnival and decided that I shouldn't come and dad's at work. But here's the thing: she said I couldn't go because I LEFT A SHIRT ON THE FLOOR.
She's really my stepmom. We are forced to call her mom. My sisters don't mind, because she likes them. She seems to hate me and Dad. I think she only married him for the money. I looked over and saw my new journal Dad bought me. I grabbed my journal and started to write on the first page.
Hi. I'm Hunter. And if you were wondering, I'm one of The Hulk's children. I am one in a set of triplets. The other two are Hazel and Harmony. We're all 13.
I heard the door being unlocked. They were back, I could hear them laughing. It sounded like they brought friends over. I put my journal in my sock drawer, in case my sisters decided to snoop around my room again.
I heard the door open and footsteps running upstairs. My door burst open. I could see my sisters along with Christy, Tessa, and Alpha. I wish I could invite some of my friends over, like Max and Henry. But Mom thinks that I shouldn't have friends over because--according to her, NOT ME--a young man like me needs to learn manners, unlike SOMEONE'S dad. (My dad).
"Hey, Hunter! Just so you know, we had SO much fun at the carnival!" Harmony told me. "Yeah. There was even a roller coaster about Dad! We got to take a picture by the entrance! Wish you could've been there." Hazel added. Everyone laughed except Christy. She gave me a sympathetic look.
That's the thing about Christy. She doesn't like adding salt to wounds. That's what I like about her. Tessa is the exact opposite. Witty (and mean) remarks; rudeness; snark; the list goes on and on. Alpha's the in-between. She REALLY wants to be like Tessa, but she isn't actually at Tessa's level. Not yet at least.
As they walked away Christy turned around. "We'll be in Hazel's room if you need us." She said. "Christy!" Hazel exclaimed, "We don't want him to come in there! He'll just bother us." She continued. I sighed after Harmony shut the door. I grabbed my journal again and wrote.
I've always felt like the odd one out.
The door burst open again. "Oh, and don't come in my room!" Hazel yelled, looking at me. "What's that?" She asked, referring to my journal. "Nothing." I said quickly. I tried to hide it, but she was too fast. She might as well of been The Flash's daughter.
She took it from me and read it. "Odd one out?" She asked, "I see where you're coming from. I'm glad you know that you ARE odd!" she continued. Then she left, snickering. I sighed again and put it back in my sock drawer. I looked out the window. The girls were playing on scooters outside. They told me they would be in Hazel's room.
School started back tomorrow. I looked through my outfits because I didn't know what to wear. I actually was one of the more popular kids. My sisters were more popular than me though, and they were doing everything they could to make me unpopular.
I ended up not choosing anything, I could just throw something on tomorrow morning. I decided I was hungry. So I went downstairs to make a snack. The girls were there making cookies and brownies. I'm surprised they got tired of the outdoors that fast. Harmony spotted me immediately.
Harmony looked at me. "Someone needs to take out the garbage. It's name is Hunter." Everyone laughed except Christy, she almost never laughs at the jokes. "I just came down here for a snack, okay?" I asked, opening the fridge. Tessa walked over and slammed it, hitting my shoulder. "Garbage doesn't need snacks." She said. Christy shot me the second sympathetic look in the past 10-15 minutes.
So I walked outside.
And that's where the trouble began.
A/N- This is chapter one. I made the sisters meaner than I was originally going to. So what do you think of the characters? They are still in BETA stage so some changes will be made. :)
