"is it done?" jaemin asked. "congratulations na jaemin, you just did a math equation." jeno said with a smile. "wait really!? i did that?" jaemin said with a wave of shock going through him.
"yes you did, all by yourself." jeno said proudly. "i did it!! jeno, i actually did it!!!" jaemin said with joy flowing through him. "are you proud of me now jeno? be honest, are you?"
jeno nodded, "i guess..." the other boy pouted, crossing his arms. "you arent proud of me?" jaemin frowned speaking in a 'tiny' voice. "i'm kidding you dummy." jeno laughed.
"hmph. you're mean." jaemin said, looking away from the boy. "oh cmon jaemin, don't give me that look..." jeno sighed. "what look? i'm not giving you any look." jaemin scoffed.
"you're giving me that look, the one when you get upset." jeno said. "seriously jaemin, cut it out." jaemin turned around slowly, barely making eye contact with the other boy.
"what?" jaemin said with an 'angry-looking' pout. "you're a kid." jeno laughed softly. "you always complain and act super dramatic, but in reality, you're just a sensitive baby."
"i am not a baby!" jaemin then whined. "you're a big fat meanie! you- you like taunting me!! it's not my fault that my parents ignore me and i do all of this bad stuff to make me feel better-"
jaemin then stopped at his words, going silent. "wait...what?" jeno gasped. jaemin looked down, not being able to look at jeno any longer. "jaemin...what are you talking about?" jeno asked worriedly.
"it's nothing." jaemin mumbled. "i said too much, i-i'm sorry. you don't need to worry. plus you arent my friend anyways, you're just being forced to help me because headmaster said to."
jeno realized at this point, jaemin wasn't some annoying and nosy kid, he was just a regular kid who had issues at home and relieved his stress by doing things he wasn't supposed to.
"jaemin, you don't get a bunch of attention at home...do you?" jeno asked softly. jaemin nodded, still not looking up. "and that's why you were sent here?" he asked again.
jaemin nodded, playing with his fingers. "my parents are never home because they're always out, my dad works while my mom does some dumb shit with her friends like shopping."
jeno frowned, so that's the reason for his behavior. "jaemin, can i ask you something?" jeno asked the boy. jaemin sighed heavily, looking up to jeno making direct-eye-contact.
"do you use me for attention?"
