PHANTOM OF MY SOUL

Sunset upon sunset
Sunrise upon sunrise
Full moon starry night
Not a shooting star passes by;
Nor dusk roll to evening;
Or dawn floods with sunshine
Would he escape my mind.

In sleep his guitar strums
In dreams his warm embrace
Lucid texture of his touch
Unforgivable waking
Inescapable reality
Consciously opting not to wake
Our souls together in the realm.

Blow my wishes to the wind
Be it sent to stars by midnight breeze
Tell the moon of my secrets
- Let whisper to Venus and Mars;
Sing to my heart sweet prayers
The Lord knows before my words
He - the phantom -  will be kept from trouble.

He sneaks into my thoughts
I see him doing chores
His smile, strong teeth and sexy lips
Eyes alluring, hair smooth and straight
Towering over the floor he shines
A stick for cleaning in his delicate hands
Those fingers which tribute to arts.

Phantom of my Soul
I see nights and more
In attempts to reach
I fail and wake
But even in the realms he slips
And hides even his shadow away
A phantom you can't trail
But never fails to conceal.
