Emma's p.o.v

Luke sat on the couch while I ordered a Hawaiian pizza. The man on the other end of the phone told me it would be delivered in 20 to 40 minutes. When he asked me my address I remembered I had never given it to Luke in the first place. When I hung up the phone I shot Luke a puzzled look.

"What?" He asked with a look of confusion.

"How did you know where I lived?"I asked as I sat next to him on the couch.

"Oh that's an easy one." He said with a smile of pure joy.

"It is, is it?" I said with a questioning look on my face.

"Yeah it is Katie gave it to me."

"Oh." I said quietly.

"What games are we playing?" he asked sliding closet to me until our legs were innocently touching. He looked at the coffee table only to see a single game case sitting on it.

"Well when I thought it was just me I was gonna binge play Soul Caliber 4." I said feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Oh...I've never heard if it." He said probably looking more embarrassed then I did.

"We can play something else if you'd like." I said trying to think of any other games of mine he might enjoy.

"No that's fine." he said taking the case from my hand to observe it. "Here." he said handing me the disk.

I turned on my Xbox and inserted the disk. I then handed Luke a controller.

He looked at me with a nervous smile. We both picked characters and the fights began. I noticed something right after we started playing; Luke really sucks at this. I looked over at him to see if he was holding out on me. He didn't seem to be however his eyes were glued on the screen and his pink tongue was visible between his teeth.

"Do you always suck so much at video games, or is it just this one?" I teased him.

He blushed. "Well I kinda have always stunk at stuff like this."

"Why are you here then?" I asked curiously.

He scratched the back of his neck nervously. "I guess I just wanted to hang out with you."

His answer caught me by surprise. I didn't know what to say, I just sat there looking at him.

"Why do you seem so amazed?" he asked.

"I don't know, it's just most people don't normally like being around me more than they have to." I shrugged it off.

"Well Emma in case you haven't noticed I'm not like most people." he said.

"I don't think your like anyone else," I teased.

"Is that a good thing?" he asked.

"I'm not sure yet." I answered.

"Well let me know when you find out," he said as the doorbell rang.

"Oh trust me, I will." I said as I grabbed a $20 out of my wallet and answered the door.

"Hello." a male about my age said holding a pizza box.

"Hi." I said with a smile.

"Did you order a pizza?" The handsome individual asked.

"Yep that would be me." I said.

"That will be $16.78." he said handing me the pizza.

"Here." he reached to get me change. "Keep the change."
