I left my house in a hurry I didn't realise I had no shoes Before long I was walking in water It was cold and wet But I guess water is I look around while still walking Leaves slowly turned from an earthy green to a bright red among bright green Then all the leaves became dull The tree trunks became large And the water started to glow My legs are now knee-deep into the water It was soothing and calm I look ahead I don't see any shapes Just glowing I keep walking I'm waist-deep in the water now I keep walking I'm neck-deep I keep walking I'm all the way under My breath shortens I can't breathe I try to swim up But I can't I can't move I begin to drown I lookup I see myself Staring at me Smiling As the last light of my life Flickers And Gone
