Morning After

Nick: morning guys

Nick says coming in to the kitchen and crashes on the sofa with me zion and Brandon 

Nick: last night was fun

Zion: yeh it was the perfect amount of crazy, did Maggie have fun b?

Brandon: yeh I think she did, she loved speaking to all her friends, and the fact that y/n was able to come I think made it even better

Nick: oh yeh, Ed how you feeling about y/n

Zion: wait did something happen?

Edwin: nooo, nothing happened

Nick: he just has a little crush

I punch him

Edwin: we just talked and got to know each other, I actually got her number

I pull up my phone to show it off. Maggie comes down

Maggie: ooh what's that

She says as she sits on brandons lap

Zion: y/n number!!

Maggie: she gave you that? Why?

Edwin: ugh well she was talking about wanting to get to know la, and since I'm a fellow New Yorker I said I'd show her around. But anyways why is it weird if she gave me her number?

Maggie: oh rigghht that's fine then, well just cuz she has a boyfriend

My face drops, she has a boyfriend! We got on so well, I actually can't believe that

Edwin: what?

Maggie: yeh his name is Noah, the last thing I heard is that they are in a very committed relationship

Nick: ahh I'm sorry dude

Nick says patting me on the soldier

Brandon: for someone in a committed relationship she did seem quite flirty

Maggie: yeh well she's always been like that, cuz she always gets attention from the guys. I'll ask her today and see if it's still a thing tho

Edwin: well it's sucks if it does, I really enjoyed getting to know her

Maggie: so continue, not all relationships have to be romantic, just be her friend maybe

Zion laughs

Zion: Ed won't like that

Edwin: no I will, I'll still talk to her, you're right. And I'll still make her feel as welcome as I can in la. I'll text her right now actually

I write "hey y/n it's Edwin from last night, when are you free for a little la tour? :)" and send it.

Maggie: yo b can you drop me home, I think y/n is all alone

Brandon: sure babes

They get up and leave

Maggie: see you guys soon I guess

Nick: bye Maggie

Y/n POV

I had such a great time last night and met so many wonderful people. I get a text through, it's edwin arranging to show me around la. Edwin and I got on so well I can't deny there was chemistry there and they way we looked at each other was so different to me, but in a good way. I hear the key in the door

Maggie: y/n you here?

Maggie shouts

Y/n: yeh I'm upstairs

She walks upstairs

Y/n: I just got a text from edwin arranging to meet up, I got on so well with him last night, but I don't want to give him the wrong impression.

Maggie: right I get you, you're still with Noah aren't you? I'm pretty sure edwin is just being friendly I wouldn't read to much into it, just go and enjoy yourself, nothing stops you being friends right?

Maggies POV
I didn't want to tell y/n the full truth, because I did get the impression that Edwin did have a crush on her, but if she found out that could ruin any chance of a friendship they have together

Y/n: yeh I am still with Noah, it's been 2 years now. I really love him, but I just miss that excitement you know what I mean? He's still in New York, so we're going to try make long distance work.

Maggie: that's so cute, but also not great about the excitement thing what do you mean exactly?

Y/n: I don't get butterflies anymore and it's just always the same, I'm sure it's something we can work on.

Maggie: yeh I'm sure it is, you guys do seem so in love

Y/n POV

I message Edwin back
"Hey, I'm free whenever really, you're the one with the busy schedule so you pick a date"

I immediately get a text back
"Great well I'm free tomorrow, how about I grab you at 9:00am?"

I write back
"Sounds good"

He replies
"Okay see you then :)"

I get a rush of sensation throughout my whole body, I honestly don't understand what's happening, it's a strange feeling that I've never felt before but it feels so right. I try to distract myself by working on my music.
