We arrive at the boys house and I'm a mess, no makeup, messy bun and slouchy clothes. I try to fix it in the car mirror.

Maggie: Stop you look fine

Y/n: mate look at me

Maggie: why are you worried all of a sudden, I thought you weren't gonna rush anything with ed

Y/n: that's true, but I've got to attract him in some way

Maggie: honey he's smitten, now let's go

I giggle to myself and get out the car. We walk up the drive and ring the doorbell

Zion: hey girls, Y/n haven't seen you in a while
he says reaching down to wrap me into a hug

Zion: come in come in, the guys are just chilling

We walk inside

Brandon: my Maggieeee

He says rushing over to her and embracing her

I want that, I want edwin to do that to me. But instead edwin stays seated on the sofa and Nick comes up to me and hugs me

Nick: y/n I've missed you!

Y/n: I've missed you guys as well, sorry I've been distant, just needed to think things through and work on my career.

I sit down on the sofa next to edwin

Y/n: hey ed

edwin: hi y/n you good

y/n: yeh I am thanks, you?

edwin: yup

he seems distant

Edwins POV
y/n looks breathtakingly stunning, but I can't fall into that trap again, so I have to keep my distance from her and keep it friends.

edwin: you wanna go record now?

I turn and ask her

Y/n: sure whatever

edwin: okay let's go, it shouldn't take long, I want to get this done

We sit down in my room and I pass her the headphones

edwin: you ready?

y/n: yup

edwin: take it away

she sings so beautifully, I can't help but feel as if I'm falling for her, but I have to stop this

edwin: all done

I say as I stand up and start to walk out

y/n: edwin wait

edwin: what

y/n: why are you being weird

edwin: I'm not

y/n: okay well can you at least give me a hug, I've missed you

I wrap my arms around her, we hold the hug for a little too long but neither one of us wants to let go.

We break apart so we're looking at each other

edwin: so what've you been doing

y/n: I wrote a lot of new songs which I love

edwin: show me

y/n: all in good time my friend

she smirks

We both crash on my bed, lying on our bellies, and just chat for hours, catching up on what we've been doing, none stop laughing and giggling. This girl is different, she understands me, and it's like we just fit.

Edwin: you're amazing you know that

I say as I lightly stroke her hand, she looks at me

Y/n: what do you mean?

She says sincerely

Edwin: well

Austin: hey guys we're about to start a games night wanna join?

I quickly stand up

Edwin: yeh sure, out in a sec. Come let's go

I say offering my hand to her

Y/n: what you're just gonna leave it at that Sounded like you were saying something important.

Edwin: nah don't worry about it, I'll tell you some other time, when we don't have interruptions.

She looks at me confused

We head out of my room and and join everyone else in the games night.

Zion: you guys were gone for ages what've you been doing?

Edwin: we just finished recording that song, and than we just chatted

Brandon: long chat

Maggie smiles and nudges y/n, then whispers something in her ear, she smiles too

Edwin: hey what you saying

Maggie: nothing

Edwin: mmhmm

Austin: guys let's play

We start playing, I really enjoy having Maggie and Y/n here, it makes us feel complete
