Chapter 2

"Festival! Festival! Time for the festival! Yukata time!" Hinata yelled, punching the air. 

"Hinata you should hurry up and get changed or else we'll be left behind." Kageyama said, he was the quickest to get changed though he was forced to wear a Kimono.

He was pretty excited for the festival. Tsukishima and a few others was able to get away without wearing one, But Hinata made sure Kageyama was definitely wearing one.

 The one Kageyama was wearing was plain black one with a white sash wrapped around his waist, It was a quite boring Kimono, He wasn't even wearing Sandals but was wearing some sneakers, the only thing that stood out was the silver bracelet that was on his wrist, It had Kageyama's and Hinata's name engraved in it. 

Sugawara was the second person to finish, His Kimono was much more detailed than Kageyama's. It was a pale pink with a more vibrant pattern of flowers and petals on it. His sash was a red and had a blue strand which made a mini bow at the front, he was wearing some prince-like boots. which had lace coming up them. Most of that was covered by the kimono since it reached down to his ankles. He also was wearing a clip of fake cherry blossoms which Daichi had gave him since it would apparently suit the kimono. 

Sugawara only brought the kimono he was wearing because Daichi had said, "I think that one would suit you Suga, Your skin is pretty pale so it would look nice with your complexion!" But this had happened before Daichi had gotten a girlfriend, meaning this happened when Sugawara thought he had a chance. But as everyone complimented Sugawara, Nishinoya jumped up and fell over, "Hinata! We can't jump in these! They are anti-jump machines!" Nishinoya said with panic in his voice but soon calmed down when he looked in the mirror, "I mean I look pretty cool in this though!" He said smiling, and he wasn't wrong either, his kimono had a reddish red brown look to it with a orange outline which then had a black under piece which brought it all together, On the reddish brown part there was a light rose design, and when his whites sash tied it together his bottoms were a army green sorta colour overall he looked bad ass! "Hey..You guys do you think this actually looks good on me or do i look more intimidating than I apparently usually look?" Asahi said while straightening himself up, His Kimono was more of a intimidating one to people who didn't see the actual design, he wore a black long-sleeved t-shirt underneath a dark red kimono with brighter designs of flames but they were positioned as flowers, he was wearing sandals aswell,

 "Finally I'm finished. It took a while." Yamaguchi said while messing with his hair.

 Yamaguchi was definitely the second most elegant, first place was currently Sugawara, Yamaguchi's kimono had a long, purple overcoat with a gold design on the tips of it, He didn't actually want to put this on but he decided it was too cold not to wear it. The rest of his Kimono was a navy blue colour it reached his feet where he wore boots both him and Sugawara did, they both felt uncomfortable in the Sandals. It felt like something was missing but no-one could put there finger on it, so they decided not to mention it, And with the seconds they had to spare Hinata finished changing, Hinata was the third most elegant and that was fact, Though Hinata was usually quite carefree with what he looked like he looked like it had taken him hours to pick out each part of his outfit, He wore an orange yukata which faded to black at the sleeves and edges and there was gold silk ribbons flailing out of the sleeves there was also an red overcoat he wore. Hinata was able to actually wear the sandals which was a surprise due to how clumsy he usually actually was. "Hey Tsukki, aren't you gonna go with us?" Yamaguchi asked with a smile, Tsukishima gave him one of his blank stares, "Why would I? If I go you're just going to follow me and wearing that. Well, It's embarrassing." hurt by the comment Yamaguchi just nodded and followed everyone else. But as soon as everyone got to the festival they broke off into their little groups, Kageyama went one way and Yamaguchi went somewhere else in the festival, Daichi went around the stalls with his girlfriend, Tanaka, Nishinoya and Asahi went on a search for Kiyoko. and everyone else did their own thing. "Hiya Suga-san!" Sugawara turned around to see Oikawa and damn, Did he go all out. His hand had a fan in it which he was fluttering around and he was wearing a long white overcoat which faded to blue with little sequins following the seam, His yukata was a light purple with dark blue rain drops at the bottom, He had gold bracelets and a gold necklace on. Sugawara's mouth opened. "wha-" Oikawa put his hand on suga's shoulder, "Close your mouth no need for opening it yet." Oikawa winked as he got to the end of his sentence. "Well Oikawa you really outdid yourself didn't you?" Oikawa smirked, "But I look good right?" Suga smiled and replied with a simple anwser, "Right!" Oikawa felt his face get uncomfortably warm, His thoughts were scrambled, "You don't look half bad yourself Suga-san!" Oikawa said once he regained composure "Want to walk around here with me? Iwa-chan is sick and you seem to be bored so why not?" Sugawara thought for a second but then agreed. As they walked around Oikawa somehow won a few things without even trying. By that I mean the girl's running the stalls gave him all the free stuff, Kuro and Bokuto were running around everywhere sprinting to each of the stalls even they were wearing kimono's Bokuto's was all shades of blue and had two sashes on, a transparent one and a white one, tere was alot of gold strands flailing behind him. He was wearing socks and sandals, and overall didn't look too bad. Kuro's Kimono was a dark red which faded black and he was wearing leather finger less gloves  and his sash was a goldish colour with a bunch of red strands following the shape. Trailing behind these energetic duo were their boyfriends, Akashi and Kenma. Kenma was wearing a Kimono which he was forced into doing but he really pulled it off, It was a light blue kimono with a pocket where he could put his phone there was also a hood to it which had a gold chain so you could attach on and off. at this moment it was one.It didn't really seem like a Kimono but he still looked great in it. Akashi wasn't wearing one he had put up a great battle and won! "You know Oikawa you're not as bad as you seem." Sugawara said with a small smile. Oikawa's eyes squinted at Suga as he said that, "Not as bad as i seem. Sugawara. YOU THOUGHT I WAS BAD?!?" Sugawara smirked a little before letting out a quick chuckle, "Yes your a bad pretty boy!" Oikawa looked at Suga's face and started to admire the face before him after a long silence Suga quickly turned red and averted his eyes, "U-uhm is there something on my face..?" Just before Oikawa could reply Sugawara got his phone out to check when realising there was nothing he looked back at Oikawa, "You were just checking me out huh?" Oikawa felt a light blush appear on his face. "Eh. Anyways let's take a selfie!" Oikawa's blush quickly disappeared as a selfie was mentioned, He got into position and the photo was taken, "Wow I look good in that!" Oikawa said with a slight smirk, "Give me your number so you can send that to me!" He said getting his phone out. Sugawara nodded and they exchanged numbers. "You shall be named.." Sugawara looked at him with an annoyed face. "I shall be named Sugawara." He said in a serious tone but Oikawa shushed him by covering Suga's mouth with his hand. "You shall be named...Drumroll please..Refreshing-kun!" Sugawara gave a smile, "I guess it's not the worst!" One thought popped into Oikawa's head at that moment..'DAMN YOU AND YOUR OPTIMISM!' Sugawara smiled once again, "I think my Optimism is a good thing!" Oikawa glared at him. 'How the hell did he know i thought that? what the hell.' Sugawara smiled once again, "Sorry if that freaked you out. I just could tell by your facial expression since people think that a lot.." Oikawa had a sudden guilty feeling as if he had just yelled at a crying child. "Im sorry if i made you sad! You seemed to be really touchy for a second. I don't even know why i'm apologising since this isn't my problem. Im sorry!!" Oikawa blurted out. Suga chuckled "It's fine don't apologise! I find being called optimistic a compliment." I smiled and laughed a little, There was a silent pause as fireworks flew to the sky, The bangs were noisy, but that didn't stop Sugawara from hearing a weird sound coming from behind him, He looked behind him to see a unfamiliar...
