Chapter 8

When Sugawara woke up, He was way too happy, at first he was worried about what people would think but then he thought and... Who cares what people think? He has a handsome boyfriend and now Oikawa told almost everyone he felt like there was weights lifted off his shoulders. Then he thought. How did Oikawa get onto school grounds without being killed by the vice principal..He just shrugged it off, That day nothing bad happened people congratulated Suga on his relationship and Sugawara apologised to his team mates who easily accepted his apology, Everything was great except for when he got home. By home I mean he went to Oikawa's house. "Suga-chan!" Oikawa said giving Suga a hug and a kiss then they talked for hours about space and movies they should watch. That was like a daily routine for them. Obviously they watched movies some days, but it was always like that when they got back from school, and they liked it that way. They posted selfies often. Everyone was fine with their relationship apart from Daichi. Though he seemed like he'd be happiest for Suga, He was angry. He was angry that Suga didn't tell him but instead made up lies. He was upset because they hardly hung out anymore. When he brought this up with his girlfriend she was saying that Daichi might feel jealous, and then Daichi brought this topic up with Suga. "Suga..I don't think you should date Oikawa. I think he's going to hurt you. I have this gut feeling." Daichi said infront of the club, and then one by one the third and second years agreed. "I'm sorry Sugawara-Kun..But..He seems like he'll do something bad soon." Kiyoko said looking down. "Suga-san you should just be careful." Ennoshita said placing his hand on Suga's shoulder. Sugawara just stared at them and smiled, "Don't worry guys!He's not like that!!" Sugawara said which actually reassured them. But when Sugawara went to Oikawa's house, he wasn't greeted normally. "Oh hey Suga-chan!" Oikawa said not looking up from his phone, Suga went and kissed Oikawa's cheek, not even earning a small blush from the male. Sugawara then took a sneak peek at Oikawa's phone to see him texting someone. "You're not cheating on me,are you?" Oikawa looked up in shock the tone he just got from Suga wasn't normal. It was really serious. Oikawa stood up and hugged him. "No!! What would you give you that idea? You do know I love you right?" Sugawara hugged back feeling guilty immediately. "I'm sorry..I was just letting their words get to me.." Oikawa froze, "Their? SUGA-CHAN ARE YOU BEING BULLIED IF YOU ARE YOU SHOULD MOVE TO MY SCHOOL!!!" Sugawara looked at Oikawa in concern and confusion, "Why do you sound happy?" Oikawa shrugged. "Oh yeah Suga-chan...I became friends with my ex..I hope you don't mind.." He said looking away from Sugawara. "That's fine..Just friends though!" Sugawara said fullheartedly trusting his younger boyfriend. The day went smoothly. But then..Everyday Oikawa would drift farther and farther away from Suga but he seemd to be getting closer to his ex. weeks past and it was like that. Sugawara walked into Oikawa's house not even getting a hello, he waited for a few minutes expecting some kind of greeting. And when he realised he wasn't getting one he just turned around and walked straight out, "Wait- Suga-chan where are you going?" Oikawa called out to the now empty room. He didn't know whether he should go back onto the bus or not so he just wandered around places. Looking around parks. He then bumped into Oikawa, "You on a walk too?" Sugawara said looking at his feet. "Suga-chan..You've went in a circle more than 3 times.." Oikawa said. "I'm sorry for being so distant, I didn't mean to make you unhappy..again..." Oikawa mumbled the last part. Sugawara felt a smile on his face, "How about we watch a movie?" Sugawara said getting a furious nod from Oikawa. That day Sugawara was able to get off club early so he decided to wait for Oikawa at the front of his school, One by one people trickled out the gate area. Oikawa was walking out with a girl who he immediately found out was his ex. ...Tears trickled down Suga's face as he saw a horrible sight. Oikawa and the girl were kissing. In truth Oikawa froze by the shock. and by the time he pushed her away and apologised saying he had a boyfriend, Suga had already ran away, It wasn't that he was scared..He just didn't know how to respond, he knew if he stayed there any longer, He'd start saying congratulations and be happy for their relationship. And Sugawara didn't want too. He didn't want to leave him. He wanted to pretend it never happened. He scrunched himself up on the bench in the park he ran away to. He soon got messages from Oikawa asking if he was alright Because he didn't turn up. Suga just said he was fine and that he just didn't feel like it. Oikawa immediately knew something was wrong and he started spamming messages to Suga, Which Suga just ignored. He turned off his phone to ignore the calls coming through. Sugawara stood up and wiped his tears as some kids ran up to him. "Hey Mister!!Play Volleyball with us! You're from Karasuno right?" A kid who soon revealed himself to be Takeru said. "Uhm yes, Sure I'll play volleyball with you!" Suga said smiling at the kids, He needed to distract himself and this seemed like the best answer. They played for 45 minutes until a voice was heard, "Takeru! Your mom wants you ho-" It was in a sing-song voice. "NO! NOT YOU! SUGA-CHAN HELP!" Takeru said hiding behind Suga. The kids all clearly scared, ran behind Suga. "Oikawa's eyes widened. "Suga-chan?" He ran up and hugged Sugawara who just lightly pushed him off, "You guys probably should get home! It'll get dark soon! And if you want to be a strong volleyball player you need to be healthy!"Sugawara said bending down to the kids height, they all happily ran home, Oikawa was confused. "Suga-chan..You didn't answer any of my calls and i thought you were back at Karasuno." Sugawara decided instead of making himself upset by continuing a relationship with Oikawa he'd just break it off. So Oikawa could be with who he wanted. "Oikawa. I want to break up." Oikawa froze. "It's not that I don't like you anymore. It's just for the best." Oikawa didn't know what to say. "Okay..?" Is all he said. He now felt dumb. He now felt like crying. He didn't want it to end like that. Sugawara weakly smiled. "Great i'm going to wait for the next bus..Bye Oikawa.." Oikawa felt his fists tighten. "How can you be so selfish..." He said quietly, Sugawara stopped walking towards his bag, "I'm sorry." Is the last thing Oikawa heard from him.
