Mason's POV

"Mason, Jade is now your new stepsister. I ask of you to be nice." said my father in a stern tone.

"Ok."

"And jade. He is your new stepbrother...try to put up with him."

"Hey!" I said

"No problem." she said then smiled at me.

Her smile is pretty too. Gad why did she have to be Laurence's fiancé. Why did she have to be engaged at all! Its hard not to smile back. Struggle. >:(

I smiled back but then turned away right away. My father frowned and dismissed us.

"Hey Mason."

"Ya."

"Lets go to this café together."

"Huh?"

"We are step siblings aren't we. Lets get to know eachother more. Plus I wanna hang out with little prince."

"Little prince?"

"I call laurence my prince and your like his little brother. So little prince."

"Hey im older than him!"

"You don't really act it." she started to walk to the limo. "Come'on." I followed her into the limo.

We were dropped of at this crowded looking café. When we walked in a lot of people greeted jade. We sat down at a table that looked to be the best of the other tables and wasn't taken by anyone.

"Whats up?" I asked her.

"Oh their all my friends."

"All of them?" I said surprised

Ive never had this many friends.

"Yup. And this table is my table."

"Your table?"

"Yup. I come here so much almost half the city that goes here knows this is my table."

"Oh."

Damion walked into the café not noticing me next to jade.

"Hey jade." Damion sat next to jade sharing a seat with her and put his arm around her.

Jade made a face and stuffed a piece of her muffin into his mouth and pushed him off the chair. He didn't fall.

"Hey what was that for?" he said in a cute way which...didn't go so well. "Oh. How's this..."

He finally recognized me. He's slow as ever.

"Mason!" he grabbed jade's arm bringing her behind him. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh I just wanted to see you." I smirked making him step back.

Haha he's always the same. No matter how much time passes he always has his grudges. I wonder if he still has a grudge on Laurence for that prank I put on them. I wonder if they know it was me? Those thugs must have really put on a show.

"You know my little prince?" jade said sitting back in her seat and turning to Damion.

"Little prince? He's no prince!"

"Stop yelling." jade said and made Damion calm down instantly.

Ahh...I know what's going on here.

After Damion sat down I said. "You like my little princess huh?" I smirked again making Damion sit up straight.

"Hey! Stop looking at me like that." Damion said.

"What's wrong?" jade asked Damion.

"N-nothing."

"Ahh...you stuttered. There must be something wrong." she said taking a sip of her tea.

"Um...hey why is he calling you little princess!?"

"Huh? I don't know. I guess its fine since I call him little prince."

"Jealous?" I said smirking again.

"I said to stop looking at me like that! And no im not!" he grabbed jade's muffin and took a bite of it.

"Oh really. May I ask what she calls you?" Damion began to chew slower now.

"I call him my dino." jade said and Damion stopped chewing.

"My dino?" I said to jade.

"I guess? I don't call him anything nowadays other than his name."

"Ahh...I see your relationship now."

"What?" Damion looked at me with a bewildered expression.

"Its a one sided love." I said and made Damion feel uncomfortable.

"Yup. Same goes for you." she said and smirked at me making me furrow my eyebrows.

"So my smirking works on you now..." she began to smirk and come closer to me making me go back.

"Stop!" I said as soon as I hit the glass wall.

"Hyperactite." Damion said and I glared at him.

"You know what..." she stopped smirking at me. "He's like you and laurence when we were still in highschool.

"Huh?" said Damion.

"Ya." jade said.

I let out a frustrated breath and grabbed jade's hand and dragged her out of the café and put her into the limo.

She mentions laurence to much. Its beginning to be a problem.

"Hey! I wasn't finished eating!" I ignored her and smirked as the chauffeur began to drive making her even more mad.

Jade went into her house after kicking my ass for asking if I could sleep over.

Sigh...she's aggressive. And cute. And...pretty attractive. Ahh... Wait Mason. No. You can't. She's married. And...you don't want to make more family problems or your going to get kicked out of the coutry again.

My dad called me in back to his office the next day.

"Yes dad." I said as I walked into his office.

"Mason. You understand your brother is in Korea auditioning for an acting job correct?"

"Yes father."

"And his fiancé is here."

"...yes father."

"I need you to know that that woman is being engaged..." I interrupted him.

"5 months from now."

"Yes. So do you know what im going to say next?"

"Yes..."

"You are forbidden to llove Jade."

There was silence till I spoke.

"Father this is unfair! Why are you taking his side! Why do you always take Laurence's side!" my father turned his full attention to me and furrowed his eyebrows at my response.

"The side your on is injustful. Your brother claimed that woman first! You are out of line Mason! You are forbidden to love her understood! Leave my office now!" my father screamed at me.

As I tried controlling myself I spoke again not leaving his office like he told me to. "If you didn't banish me to Korea with the woman you left behind I would have claimed Jade first!"

"Mason!" my father yelled at me even louder because of my mention of the woman you left behind.

"Is it because I'm the illegitimate child!" I yelled even louder making my father even more mad.

"Mason get out of my office now." he said grinning his teeth. I didn't listen. "GET OUT OF MY OFFICE RIGHT NOW!!!" I listened and stormed out of his office.
