"That makes my life a whole lot easier," the flower's voice starts to distort at the last few words. I look up to see a chilling expression grow across the plant face.

Suddenly,  I lost my breath, feeling something rip out of my chest. I can see that it is a glowing purple heart . I looked over to AJ to see the same thing happening to her, but her's was black.

I look out the side of my eye to see the flower throw something at me and AJ. Not given enough time to dodge, it hits my lower left arm, leaving a gash in my arm. I hear AJ scream and look over.

She was holding her leg as it bleeds where one of those things hit her. I can hear the flower laughing at my friend's pain. I feel adrenaline start to pump through my bloodstream.

I stand and face the flower. He looks to me, interested by my reaction. I start to sprint towards the flower.  Picking up the nearest object,  a stick.

The flower's eyes widen, obviously not expecting my reaction.  He tries to hit me with the same things, when looking closer they looked like flower petals.  I easily dodge everyone.

When I was angry nothing could stop me. As I got closer vines started reaching from the ground, trying to grab on to my ankles. I dodge them as I react the flower, slashing at his leaves.

I can hear his grunts of pain, but I continue. I then feel a hand on my shoulder. I see AJ holding onto me, trying to support her leg. I forget about the plant creature behind me and grab my bestfriend.

I put her arm over my neck so I can support most of her weight. I walk with her as quick and far away from that place as possible.  I look around and it seems like we are in some type of purple labyrinth.

When I find a decent corner, I hide there with AJ. Her breathing has gotten heavy and she was losing alot of blood. We don't have any bandages. I look around for anything useful. I end up choosing my pants.

I rip strips of cloth from my pants and wrap them around our wounds. Causing a groan of pain from AJ. She didn't look well. The thought leaves my head as I hear footsteps.  I cower into the corner, trying to hide us a best as I can.

I hear the steps getting closer and closer.  Then at the end of the hall a faint white figure comes into sight. She gets closer, but it doesn't seem like she has noticed us. She finally gets close enough to where I can see her features.  She was a tall goat woman, she was wearing a long purple dress.

She walks right by us. She continues down the hall, but them stops. I can her her sniff the air. Her eyes then goes wide and she quickly turns towards me.  She then starts to run towards us.

I pick up AJ as fast as I can. Whimpering as she accidentally touched my wound. I run with her. No stops, afraid of what the woman would do to you.

"WAIT!! CHILD!!," she screams. "I want to help, please child." I keep running. She sounded nice and sweet. The flower acted sweet too. If he could do that much damage, what would someone her size be able capable of. I look ahead to see doors.  I run straight towards them.

I open them to see a house, but I can't let it distract me. As I run through a living room, I quickly notice real bandages, so I grab them as quick as I can. As I'm leaving the room, the goat monster walks in just as I  run out.

"You don't need to run from me," she cries. But I don't stop. I can't risk losing AJ. I look to see her face, scrunched up in pain.

I slide down a flight of stairs, basically holding AJ over my shoulder. I continue to run down another hall, hearing the goat-woman wailing for me to stop.

I turn the corner and I see another door. This one was larger then the last. I run as fast as I can and immediately start pulling open the door with my free hand. AJ uses her free arm and joins in. We open it just enough for me to squeeze out with her.

"NOOOOOOO, PLEASE DON'T GO!!!! I BEG YOU! PLEASE THEY WILL HARM YOU!!!," the woman screams, pounding on the other side of the door.

I barely notice the cold as I carry AJ away. Not until she start shivering. I look around and see an area under one of the trees that was clear of snow underneath. I sit us under the tree and give her my grey jacket.  I had a navy blue hoodie underneath anyways.  I grab the bandages from my pocket and look at her leg. I unwrap her leg, seeing her jolt at the pressure on her wound. The bleeding has mostly stopped, same with my arm. I rewrap her leg,  then my arm.

We sit for alittle to catch our breath. It stayed awkwardly silent, neither of us knowing what to say. The chaotic day we have had has exhausted us both, already.

"Harley?," AJ says weakly, "What's going to happen to us?" She turns her eyes away, "I miss home." With that statement I raise my head.

"Home? HOME?" I raise my voice alittle,  trying to keep myself under control.  "That ORPHANAGE  wasn't our home AJ!" I throw my hands up in the air.

"Well it was better then almost dying every few minutes after GETTING THOWN DOWN A FUCKING HOLE!" she shout back at me, growing an annoyed expression. I stop talking to her and stand up.

I start to walk around the tree, keeping a lookout for any other monsters. None showed up.

After resting for alittle I pick her back up and we are on our way. I walked for what felt like hours, holding most of our weight as not to harm AJ's leg even more. I keep looking around and I don't see a single monster. Strange.

Suddenly,  a snowstorm starts up, causing me to have trouble looking around. Soon the snow is so thick that I couldn't see anymore. I held AJ close, making sure to keep the coat zipped and trying to share my body heat.

I then bump into something. I look and make out the figure of a small stand. I hide under the top, with just enough room for me and AJ not to get hit by the storm, even if it was cramped.

I'm too tired and cold to keep my eyes open. I finally stopped fighting them and just let them drop. The last thing I heard before falling asleep, was a unfamiliar laugh.
