A roller coaster is
what life is often compared to.
But I completely disagree.
I've thought of something new.
Life is more like a chasm,
dug deep into the sea.
When you're in that shadowed place,
it becomes hard to breathe.
The weight is crushing,
the light drifts away.
All you see is night,
and you forget the day.
But you don't have to
Keep sinking down.
Start to swim,
turn yourself around.
Leave the darkness,
embrace the light.
Grasp the joy,
not eternal night.
You're not alone.
Don't give in.
We can do this together.
And together we'll win.
We'll win this fight
against the pain.
Then you will be happy,
and smile again.
