chapter 1:that day

hello I hope you like the first chapter

nezuko pov

tanjiro had left a wile ago when our mum called me

mum-"nezuko did tanjiro leave already?"she asked as she sat in her chair as she worked on some clothes

me-"yes he left a wile ago did you need him for something?"I ask

mum-"yes I needed him to deliver these"she said as she pointed at a small box with kimonos and yukatas

me-"I can do it, it shouldn't be that hard"I say going over to the box

mum-"if that's alright with you"I nod and pick the box up

it's a bit heavier than I expected but I can manage. I walk out of the house after telling the others to look after our mother and not to bother her too much.'ok now which way did tanjiro go' I think as the world around me turns black except the door behind me and the ground around me'right this way' I think as I follow a faint blue glowing fog down the mouton and soon arrive at the village

kid 1-"hey nezuko could you help us find our friend we're playing hide and seek"he said with two others behind him

me-"well I really shouldn't but"I look around till I see a fog being cut off at a odd point"I think there over their"I say looking over at a barrel.

they run off thanking me as I continue to walk through the village and to the places I needed while getting distracted talking to people that by the time I finished it was almost dark but when I went to head home someone stopped me

old man(if he has a name I'm sorry)-"hey it's dangerous to go into the forest at night come stay with me till morning"he said peeking through a window

me-"I'll be ok I can still see my brothers aura"I say waving my hand

old man-"please demons lurk in the woods at night it's safer if you stay here"he says

knowing that I can't convince him I'll be fine I go into his house were I had dinner and went to bed

time skip the next day 

I thank the man for the food and letting me sleep in his house before heading up the mountain. as I walk up the hill I think about how worried tanjiro must be because I wasn't home I giggle to myself before looking ahead and seeing a large red fog in front of me. my heart sinks due to the size of the food and how solid a colour it was so I started running us the hill. where I see tanjiro on the ground covering takeo

me-"tanjiro whats wrong what ha-"I stopped when I looked into the house to see everyone dead

I turn around and look at tanjiro and I see him twitch'he's still alive I can save him' I think as I just barely manage to get him on my back 'ok this is going to be harder than I thought but if tanjiro can do it then so can I' I slowly start to run with tanjiro lying on my back. after some time I was now running at half speed while close to a cliff face I look at my back to see ho tanjiro is dooing and when I look back I see a blue fog coming closer much faster than I was running but when I go to see who it is I feel my weight shift towards the edge of the cliff and fall off.

thankfully the snow cushioned the fall. I sit up frantically looking around and see tanjiro getting up.

me-"tanjiro are you alright what happened to everyone?"I ask as I run towards him 

as I get closer I see someone in the distance running toward us and when I check who it is not only do I not recognise the persons but tanjiros aura has changed as well becoming darker but before I can say anything the person starts to swing a sword at tanjiro I quickly tackle him to the ground with a bit more force then I expected and we ended up hitting a tree with tanjiro taking the front of the hit 

me-"tanjiro" I say looking at him but when I blink he's gone

(the conversation is the same as in the anime but that's it but replace sent with aura and sister with brother)

he then stabbed him in the shoulder I scream at the man as I throw a rock at him he deflects it with his sword as I ran around picking up what ever I can when I remember tanjiro having a hatchet on him I look around and see it behind a tree just out of sight I run over to it and pick it up hiding it in my sleeve as I continue to throw stones at him before charging at him with a stick in one hand and as I get closer I lift the sleeve that has the hatchet up so I can throw it at point blank rang even if he knocks me out.

narrator pov

when she got withing arms reach of giyu hits her with the hilt of the blade knocking her out but before he could think what to do next the hatchet flew at him barely missing his head and getting stuck in a tree. tanjiro stopped struggling when nezuko hit the ground before looking at giyu and flicking his head back hitting giyu in the chin before punching him sending him back before jumping toward nezuko.'crap hes going to kill her' giyu thought as tanjiro got closer but instead of attacking nezuko he picks her up and starts running away.

giyu starts to run after him confused by his actions. as he got closer to tanjiro he tried to attack him only to have tanjiro jump over the slashes and sidestep others and after a while of this tanjiro managed to get the upper hand when giyu stumbled on a rock hidden by the snow he placed nezuko beside a tree carefully before turning to face giyu. giyu stops ready for tanjiro to attack him but what he wasn't expecting was for a snow ball to be thrown at him as tanjiro jumped over him landing on a tree before jumping down at him. giyu doges the back attack as well as the follow up attacks and as tanjiro jumped to do a leaping attack giyu sheathe sword and hitting tanjiro on the neck knocking him out.

mini time skip (however long it takes someone to wake up after being hit in the head)

kie-"we have to leave you behind nezuko, I'm so sorry, take care of tanjiro"she whispered into her ear

nezuko opened her eyes and saw tanjiro laying next to her with a bit of bamboo covering his mouth

giyu-"you awake?"he asked as nezuko shot up holding her brother close"get to mount seguire(sorry if I spelt that wrong) as soon as possible, look or an old man named sakoji urokodaki when you find him tell him giyu tomioka sent you"he gets up from a tree"its cloudy he seems to be alright at the moment, never let him be exposed to sun light"with that he disappears without a trace.

time skip to at the house

nezuko had made a hole with five small mounds in it. she knelt down in front of them with her hands together as tanjiro watched her and before she got up he did the same thing as her.

nazuko-"come on we need to go"she says as she takes his hand and walk away. she looked back one last time with a look of sadness in her eyes before continuing to walk at a much faster rate.

I hope you liked this and I know it was a bit short but this is both the first chapter and somewhat the prologue so it's in between the two in word count and I know I skipped the first speech and not the next mini speech but the firs one has a lot of back and forth and coming up with different lines that portray similar meaning as in the anime for nezuko would be hard so I just made it so I wouldn't have to write it and if you don't like that then why are you reading anything I wright this is not meant in a mean way but just that you probably wont like what I do
