Lost

Spoilers for the newest episode! If you haven't watched don't read!

TW: slight depression, slight injury (honestly not good at these so if I miss something let me know)

{This is right after Roman sinks out}

Roman appears and his room, finally allowing the tears to fall. How could they?! I just...he just- the anger and pain finally boiled over as he turned and punched the wall. He knew his hand would hurt later, but right now he is too upset to care. A hole formed in the wall as he pulls his fist back.

"Am I the one in the wrong? Am I not good enough? Am I not the hero? Then why am I the prince?" He runs a hand through his hair and groans in frustration, as he slides to the floor and leans against the door.

His hand is already starting to swell and he can see some blood from the small cuts that the wall gave him, but he ignores them. Roman knows it won't be long till the adrenaline of being angry finally settles and the tears will start to flow. Moving carefully and slowly, he makes it to his bed and curls up on it.

He snaps to change his clothes into his pjs, a simple tshirt and sweats, he is so tired. He allows his eyes to drift shut as he fell into a deep sleep, tears running down his face.

~Small Time skip~

He awoke to a knocking on the door. His body weak from crying. Roman goes to tell the person to go away before seeing Virgil standing inside the doorway as he quietly closes the door behind him. It is at this moment Roman realizes just how small he has shrunk thanks to the depressing thoughts. Roman quickly wipes his eyes and sits up looking at the anxious side.

Virgil slowly made his way to the bed and sat on the floor, reaching a finger out he rubs Roman's back in calming circles. "I heard what happened?" Virgil said quietly.

"I'm not the hero, am I virgil?" Roman asks completely heart broken.

The anxious side bit his lip looking as if trying to find the right words. Roman was about to tell him not to worry about it when Virgil spoke. "You are the hero. You are our prince. Today was a tough day and things were said that shouldn't have been said. I've lived with Janus before all this and I know he only said what he said because you hurt him by laughing at his name. It's a defense mechanism!" Virgil gently picks Roman up in his on hand and uses his pointer finger to rub the small princes cheek. "We still love you no matter what, and no one is perfect-"

"Especially not me.." another voice joins in. The two look up to see Janus now in the doorway. He walks over and kneels beside Virgil who had moved to sit on the bed earlier. "I'm sorry for what I said. It was a bit more harsh then what I wanted to say. For some reason hearing you laugh at my name just caused something to snap in me and the comment I made was not necessary. Yes your brother is gross and "evil" but no one knows just how soft and sensitive he can be."

Roman looks up and rubs his eyes removing some of the tears that are falling, while Virgil rubs his back. "I'm sorry for laughing. It was extremely on gentleman like of me. I hope you can forgive me."

"All is forgiven little charmer." Janus ruffles Roman's hair playfully. "Can you forgive me?"

"As long as we can watch a disney movie together as a family."

Janus chuckled. "Sounds go to me!" He carefully picks up Roman and places a kiss on his head. "By the way you look extremely adorable like this."
