「 Character Details 」

Personality : She seems like a caring and kind girl at first, if not a little naive, to humans, including demon slayers, but that's only because she's an excellent actress, able to take a genuine expression and emotion within a split second. When she's in the presence of other demons, including her elder brother, she shows her true nature. She is cold-hearted, cruel, and very unforgiving if anyone should offend her. She also enjoys toying with her prey, especially when her prey is a demon slayer, and loves watching a good show. She can watch her elder brother massacre many people with a smile on her face that would never falter, even when hearing the humans plead for their life. The only time it falters is if blood gets on her clothes, which is when her smile then turns into a disgusted frown.

Hobbies : Singing, dancing, reading, toying with humans and demon slayers for fun, acting

Weakness : Supposedly wisteria. Very few people know that she isn't affected by wisteria, her brother being one of them. Nichirin blades only slowed down her healing immensely, but didn't kill her, as she had found out after nearly being decapitated[she can still die of blood loss, though she'll most likely revive when it becomes night]. However, as cruel as she may be, her only soft spot is babies and children. The reason will be explained in her background. In the presence of babies and children, she would genuinely care for them and would fight tooth and nail to protect them, even from her own brother should he try to harm them.

Fun fact : In the daytime, you could see her walking under the sun with a paper umbrella over her head, even though she is immune to sunlight. [Honestly, how have any demon in the anime and manga not thought about this???] The reason she does this? Simple: to visit the orphanages and play with the children there. This is where she can act like a mother to the orphaned children.

Overall Appearance : She is a peerless [incomparable] beauty and has long, straight black hair that reaches her hips. Snow white, unblemished skin that is soft to the touch. Red lips that curls up slightly at the corners. Her sharp nails are a dark purple on the bottom that fades to a light purple towards the tip of her nails. Her fangs are dangerously sharp, sharper than any other demon's. She has a phoenix eye shape and the color of her irises are a captivating shade of gold, with thin black lines in them, making them look as if there are cracks in her irises[Like Muzan's eyes]. She's always in a Chinese hanfu dresses, as she likes the design of them. And because it's much easier to walk around in them.

Background Information: Hoshiko was born a year after Muzan, and was the pride and joy of their family. As a human, she was raised to be the perfect, virtuous wife. Muzan often doted on her, and in return, she would protect him the best she could whenever he gets bullied for having a weak body. After all, she may be weak, but bully someone she cares for and she would be fierce with her words as she verbally beats down the bully with her words until they apologize to her brother. This got her many admirers and suitors, until finally, her parents picked someone for her to marry.
