August 2017 - BTS Dorm

Finally being able to catch a small break from their upcoming promotion with their new album being released the following month, BTS are all settled in the comfort of their dorm.  Some members in their rooms relaxing or sleeping and some members chilling in their lounge space.  Enjoying the view from their balcony, headphones latched to his head, Jungkook, otherwise know as 'The Golden Maknae', is enjoying his alone time, watching the sun slowly setting, while blasting the tracks that will soon be released next month. 

Getting lost in his thoughts, thinking about everything they have achieved so far.  Slow progress at first, but worth all the hard work.  Their beloved Army.. all the love and support they have been shown, not only from their fans in Korea, but all around the world.  He couldn't be more happier.  Being able to reach and concur his dreams to be a KPop idol, he's also been able to achieve his dreams with his hyungs by his side.  Everything he did, wasn't only for himself, but for their fandom, Army.

Still lost in his thoughts, a notification pops up on his phone.  A YouTube notification.. He pauses the song playing from their album and taps his YouTube app.  A notification from the Knowing Brothers YouTube channel to be precise.  It's no secret that BTS loved these types of variety shows, as it gave them a small insight on what other idols were like off stage. Whenever they got the chance too, they would make sure to watch the episodes when they can.  They would happily do a 'Knowing Brothers marathon' when they had no schedules to attend to.  Being the maknae of the group, Jungkook did get away with a lot.  He has been sneaking some extra time in to catch up on the episodes alone and right now, he was more than happy to check out the next episode.

"Oh!  BlackPink? Interesting.. I must have closed the previous episode and didn't see the ending to show who was on the next episode!", Jungkook said to himself.  He knows who they are, everyone does.  BTS referred to them as the 'Monster Rookies of YG'.  It was no secret that BTS were the biggest fanboys of Big Bang, heck - Most of the Big Bang members were their idols, the idols that they looked up to and so badly wanted to be like them and achieve everything that they concurred.  When BlackPink debuted, they didn't expect anything less.  With 2NE1 disbanded, everyone wondered if YG Ent would ever debut another girl group, especially a girl group that had to match one of the popular girl groups from the 2nd generation and might I add, the first girl group to introduce the whole 'Girls Crush' concept.  BlackPink definitely followed in their Noona's footsteps.

Watching the episode, he couldn't help but laugh.  The similarities he could see in the girls, he could also see with his Hyungs.  Jisoo, the one they all referred to as Jin Hyung's visual twin but also V Hyungs 4D twin. Jennie with her gummy smile but her savage attitude and the ability to spit her lyrics out when she rapped, reminded him of both RM hyung and Suga Hyung.  Rose, with her charming personality and angel like voice, reminded him so much of his Jimin hyung, for they both had unique voices that stood out in the industry which could not be duplicated.  Then there was Lisa, the dancing machine and happy pill of BlackPink also know as 'The Royal Maknae', so much like his hyung, Hobi.  An instant smile plastered on his face, thanks to her happy vibe and cute charm, anyone watching her would smile. 

He was aware of being shipped with many female KPop idols and he knew of 'Liskook' being the most popular. He didn't really think much of it as he has never interacted with her, apart from seeing her at the music awards and giving her a friendly nod. He knew and heard of many male KPop idols taking a liking to her, but he never really included himself in the conversations, but continued to listened.  Visually, she was stunning and from other convos he heard, her personality was the main thing that idols remembered the most about her. 

He continued watching her part in the episode.  She's being asked to dance since she is known as the dance machine of the group.  His eyes widen as she starts moving to the song.  He's only ever seen what is deemed as their 'safe' choreographer, but watching her dance, almost freestyle, hitting every single beat, he was impressed.  He quickly checked the comments to see what song she danced to and immediately downloaded the song.  It didn't take much for Jungkook to get into the vibe of a song but watching someone dance to a song, was a whole different ball game.  He found it interesting that, someone was able to get his attention just through movement/dance.  He has only ever felt that way when he would watch his hyung, Jimin.

He laughed out loud when he watched Lisa perform the famous Thai star dance.  'She's such a goof ball!', he whispered to himself, with an even wider smile on his face.  He started to rewind her part to watch it again, without paying any attention to his surroundings, he didn't notice that V was standing behind him.  "Kookieeeeeee! Are you watching the episode without us!? Switch it off! Come, it's dinner time.  We'll watch the episode once we finish dinner, Arasso?", as V grabbed Jungkook's arm.  "Alright hyung, lets go!".

He already planned his excuse if his hyungs asked him why he was watching there episode without them, since they were invited to be on Knowing Brothers next month. Jungkook knew what he was going to search up alone, after watching the episode with his hyungs. 

'Liskook.. let's see what this ship is about.."
