C40- Detention

"You know why your here so don't even try leaving before the end" Mr Aizawa said standing in front of the three of us. "You are to take these boxes full of books and stock the shelves. Any of the boxes that don't have books in should be put at the very top of the shelf so you'll need to use the ladder... Try not to kill eachother" he said directly looking at Bakugo before he left the libery.

"This is going to be fun" I sighed.

"Shh!" The librarian said before yawning and putting her head on the desk.

"Fuck this" Bakugo said kicking a box making it fall on its side, the contents spilling out of it.

"Let's just finish it so we can leave early" I said picking up a box and shoving it in Bakugo's arms.

Kaminari followed my lead picking one up of his own. We took the boxes over to one of the empty shelves and began putting the books out. They were organized by genre in the boxes so it made it easy to put them away.

Bakugo kept muttering curses about how stupid and pointless this was. "I'm going to put all the boxes on the top shelfs" Kaminari said putting the ladder up to the right of us.

"Get on with it then" Bakugo rolled his eyes.

"Will do" Kaminari saluted before getting on with it. Picking up a box, climbing the ladder and putting it on the top shelf.

I put my hand on his arm to get his attention and smiled "Hey it could be worse Katsu"

"How" he grumbled sarcastically.

"Umm..." I thought for a moment trying to come up with any reason and then giggled at what I thought "For one it would be worse if I wasn't here"

"True" he said quietly.

"I didn't think you'd agree to that" I laughed.

"Ugh I'm already dead" Kaminari sulked picking up a box weakly.

"We should have forced someone like Uraraka to get a detention with us. She would be able to make everything so much lighter" I said smiling at the thought.

"That sounds amazing! These are so heavy!" Kaminari moaned struggling up the ladder with the heavy box.

"That doesn't seem very safe" I pointed out "we shouldn't be putting heavy boxes so high up"

"That's what the cunt told us to do" Bakugo said not looking away from what he was doing.

"I guess. It was what Mr Aiwaza said" I said watching Kaminari put the box on the top of the shelf.

"Are quirks can't even help us unless we want all the boxes to either be burnt or soaking wet"

"Your muttering" Bakugo said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry!" I said quickly.

I noticed his lips turn into a small smile making my heart flutter like mad. I really have fell hard for this boy.

"Ugh!" Kaminari moaned making me turn to him.

"I can help you if you want" I said to him.

"N-no I got it!" He said struggling to even hold the box. How he planned to get it up the ladder was beyond me but I'm sure he would think of something.

"If they expect us to get this all done they are crazy!" Kaminari said referring to all the boxes there was.

"Shut up and work or we won't get anywhere" Bakugo said pretty much throwing the boxes onto the shelfs.

Comfortable silence fell between us other than Kaminari's grunts as he tried to get the heavy box up the ladder.

"Shit!" Kaminari yelled.
