Katya's POV

It's been three years. Three long years since I became the new CEO of the largest company there is in Los Angeles. Three long years since I haven't seen Violet. I talked this through with Jane and Juan and of course, as I expected, Juan didn't take it lightly.

FLASHBACK 3 YEARS AGO:

I sat in my office room, waiting for Jane and Juan to come inside. I need to talk to them and tell them what is up with their mother and I. Although, Jane already know it, I still need my oldest to be with me once I tell Juan that his mother and I will no longer get back together.

"Hey Mom, what's up?" Juan entered the room together with his sister. I motioned for them to sit in front of my office table and I sighed.

"First of all, before I say what I am supposed to say, I just wanna let you all know that I love you so much and this will never change. I will love you till the end of time and no one will take you three away from me. Also, I want this conversation to be between us first. I don't want Christina to know any of this." I started. Both of them nodded. Juan being much more confused than her sister.

"Mom, what's happening? What are you talking about?" Juan said.

"Your mommy and I are getting a divorce." I said. His jaw dropped and Jane just looked at me. She might've not expected that her mommy and I will be getting a divorce.

"What?" Juan said. On the verge of crying.

"Mom, isn't this too soon?" Jane said. I was quiet for a minute. I was about to speak when Juan stood up and was about to leave.

"Where are you going? We are not yet finished." I said. I stood up and pulled his arms and he looked at me. Hate visible in his eyes.

"I'M GOING OUT!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I KNEW IT!! I KNEW FROM THE START!! I KNEW IT THE MINUTE THAT SHE LEFT THIS HOUSE!! And you know what Mom, I won't be surprised that mommy's getting a divorce. Because you never fought for her anyway! You never!!" Juan said. I slapped him right across the face.

"MOM!!" Jane said and held me by the chest trying to distance me from Juan. I looked at Juan, tears in my eyes.

"YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT TO ME!! You don't know how broken I am right now that my Children will not have a mother to take care of them like they used to!! You don't how this situation pains me because you know nothing!! All you know is I am the mother who was always at work that doesn't care about my kids but you're wrong!! You don't know as well how much I fought for your mother! How much I begged for her to come back to me because I love her and I love you." I said. Tears spilling down my face as Juan looked at me. He shook his head and left the room. Jane held me in her arms and I cried.

END OF FLASHBACK

Right after that incident, I talked to Juan and we became okay. We were not as close as we were before but I am happy that I got full custody of my Children before our divorce was granted.

I am currently on my way to the office since I have a meeting with a few events organizing team. I have to find the best one since this event that I am holding will actually save the company.

See, months ago, the company was in a major issue that it almost put the business into risk. I did my best to get all our business partners to still be our partners. Some of them still are but a lot backed out and this event that I am holding is the one that can actually save the company since we just found out that there can be a chip in a laptop that can actually make the laptop auto pilot. It's weird but yeah, we actually did it.

We arrived at WERQ and I fixed my coat. All of them are bowing their heads whenever they see me and I am reciprocating it of course.

I walked towards my assistant's desk, Jinkx, and she is eating with her whole dear life. I smiled to her and she still haven't noticed me because she is so busy with her food. I finally faked cough and she looked up at me with pasta dangling out her mouth and her cheeks full of food.

"Fxldjuck. Hi Kaythya!" She said with her mouth still full. I laughed slightly and shook my head and looked at her.

"Jinkx, fix yourself. Anyway, are the events organizer here already? There are 18 of them that should be inside right?" I asked Jinkx.

"Yeah Katya. They're here. They are waiting for you inside the meeting room." She said. I nodded my head and smiled at her. She quickly picked up a small folder and gave me all the details of the people I am meeting today.

"Oh and finally, we have Trixie Mattel as the representative of Buttercup Events. They are just a small company so I am not sure if you really wanna hear this but yeah. They have been organizing events for 7 years. Owned by Kim Chi." Jinkx said.

"I see. Okay. I'll see their proposals and check what the decision would be. Whoever I pick should be able to present for 5 days with 1 presentation each day right? Such as materials and stage designs am I right? But for now, just a quick intro and then see which one will advance?" I asked Jinkx and she nodded.

"Alright. I am going in." I said and opened the room for the meeting room and was met by 17 different faces and 1 very familiar face. I shook away my thoughts and sat on the center seat and smiled at them.

"Good morning. Shall we begin?" I smiled.
