Chapter 2: The New Student

It's about 3 days till the attack on Ryoku and with loads of preparing and with problems in both mental and physical training for the lower classes a new student has transferred into the school. Currently right now the student council president has gone to meet the transfer student and show him some of the school. "Hello Transfer Student may I ask for your name" asks Lucy.

"My name is Thelix" said the new student as he walks up to Lucy. Thelix looks over to the girl standing next to Lucy. Lucy seeing this decided to introduce them to each other

"Thelix this is Sky the Vice president of the school, Sky this is the transfer student Thelix". Says Lucy introducing the two to each other. "Hi Thelix as Lucy said I'm Sky and I know this is upfront but you will fight me in a Magic Battle to determine what class you get put into" Explains Sky "We have an easy styled class system were the better you are the higher class you will be put into". Lucy says.

"Okay" says Thelix as he starts following them while looking around to see if anybody looked tough. Thelix, Sky and Lucy continue to walk down the hallway until they get to the metal doors of the Practice Hall as they enter Thelix noticed that there were people battling each other and teachers talking to each other. They continue walking until they get to a battle arena surrounded with glass the same arena Xanatos and Rin had their battle. They walk inside and Sky goes to the back and stands on the line.

“Thelix this the glass arena made out of glass that can’t be smashed” said Lucy trying to make their technology look really advanced.

“Can you prove that” said Thelix examining the glass to see if it could break or even crack.

“Easy because I can’t break it” said Lance walking in to the arena

“And you are” said Thelix looking at him thinking that this guy could probably be a good sparring partner.

“The names Lance of the 7 Gates” replies Lance. While he walks up to the little guy and pats his head.

“Lance please move over here” Lucy shouts. Lance moves over to where Lucy was standing. Thelix walks over to the opposite side of Sky and gets ready to fight.

"3, 2, 1, Fight" shouts Lucy. Thelix charges into battle but a bit different from a direct approach while sky shoots balls of water at Thelix, however Thelix jumps, ducks and slides under all of them and then raises his right hand up. An air current forms around his hand and the he slams his hand down onto the ground and an Air current forms around Sky.

"What is this i have never seen a spell like this before" screams Sky examining the new type spell that in a sense looked rather familiar. Sky starts choking and falls down to the ground unconscious. Lance looked at Thelix and raised an eyebrow. Thelix looks back with the eyes of a hunter.

"And with that the winner is Thelix and Thelix will be placed into class 9M-1" says Lucy. The medical team takes Sky away and Lance decides to go with them.

"Yo, who's the newbie" says Xanatos walking into the arena and looking at Thelix.

"This is Thelix the new transfer student". Lucy replies "And Thelix this is Xanatos, he probably be your sparring partner seeming you guys are the top wind users in the school. Xanatos walks up to Thelix and offers a handshake, Thelix accepts and a rivalry and friendship start from that moment.

"So you are a wind mage" Thelix asks. while wondering how string this guy in front of him is. 

"Well yes and after seeing your battle I can tell you have similar spells to me" Xanatos says while starting his 0-Oxygen spell in his hand. Xanatos leaves the arena and Sialeth walks in, while they walk past each other Xanatos gives Sialeth the look to say that the newbie is good.
