"That's anger issues guy," Claudia whispered harshly over to me and I quickly wiped my look of disgust off my face.
"Maybe she'll fix his issues," I joked back, rolling my eyes.
I kept walking, glad that she would occupy him tonight because that meant he wouldn't be bothering me when I went home.
"Wil," Claudia hissed and I looked back to see Wil faltering, his face contorted in pain.
My eyes went from Wil to Callan to the girl and then back.
My mouth formed in the shape of an 'O'.
Is this why Wil looked sad talking about Callan on the first day I met him?
I watched as Claudia grabbed Wil's small arm and tugged, pulling him out of his trance.
Suddenly, I wanted nothing more but to kick Callan in the balls.
"She's not worth it," Claudia murmured, pushing him forward and he kept walking, a dazed look on his face. I'm surprised he didn't drop the equipment in his hands.
With one final look at the two succubi, I turned back to follow Claudia and Wil.

"That's not how it went!" Wil shrieked as Claudia smirked, holding a salt shaker in front of his face.
"Are you serious?" I cringed, reluctantly sipping on my chocolate milkshake after hearing some disturbing news.
Apparently, Wil use to down massive amounts of salt in high school to impress some friend group that didn't talk to him anymore. I also discovered that Claudia had gone to highschool with Wil, so she knew a lot more about him than me.
We now sat in a little dinner off of campus. It was retro, newly renovated with decorations of red, white, and teal. The meals were a little too pricy for my taste, so I just got a sweet treat, while Claudia and Wil shared a meal of chilly and fries.
"I thought I was being cool," He mumbled, obviously embarrassed.
"You are cool, Wil!" Claudia said, raising her hands in exasperation.
I nodded quickly in agreement as Wil looked over to me nervously. I sent him a heartfelt smile, which seemed to calm him down.
"These friends of yours didn't seem to deserve you anyway,"
Wil shrugged, obviously still hurt about it and Claudia pursed her lips. Whoever these people were, I was already against them. Why did everyone take Wil for granted?
"So, how did classes go today?" Wil said in an effort to change the conversation.
"Good,"
"That's all?"
I shrugged. "I mean, it was just syllabus days, and tomorrow will be the same, so it's good so far."
"But tell him about the boy next door!" Claudia gushed at me, startling me with her energy.
"He's nothing to talk about, just a nuisance," I sniffed nonchalant, taking another sucky suck from my milkshake.
Claudia stared at me expectantly, not letting up, and I could almost feel a bead of sweat come down from my forehead.
I suddenly didn't want to talk about it. After seeing Wil's face over the girl and Callan, it seemed like a touchy subject.
"It's nothing, really, I can handle it," I said, giving Claudia a pointed look.
