3rd Person POV:

Amethyst and Lapis stood by Peridot, who lay on the ground unconscious.

"Y'know what, I'm just gonna take her back to the Temple. Then when she wakes up, she'll be safe and stuff." Amethyst concluded, speaking her thoughts aloud.

"Are you sure?" Lapis asked, concerned, "She can stay here, too. She'll be well cared for, as well."

"Naw, I'm sure. Thanks, though."

With that, Amethyst picked the green gem up, carrying her bridal style towards the warp pad.

"Tell me when she wakes up!" Lapis waved after her.

"I will!" Amethyst shouted back, just about to warp away.

The two arrived at the Temple, Peridot still in Amethyst's grasp. The quartz made her way to the couch, sitting down and placing the olivine's head in her lap. Amethyst looked over and checked the time; 9:30am. She just stayed where she was,

Waiting for her to wake up,

Wondering if she was okay,

What would happen?

Nothing. Nothing happened, for quite a long time. Amethyst checked the time once more; 11:11am. Make a wish... She thought. The wish was pretty straightforward. Nothing more than a hope; and something that would probably happen eventually.

I hope that she's alright. Please, Peri! Wake up!!

Amethyst continued to look down at Peridot, who looked rather peaceful in her lap. Soft breathing was all she heard. It was nice. The two stayed there for a while longer. Soon, Amethyst's eyes felt heavy, and she drifted off to sleep.

It was now about two hours later. The quartz awoke from her nap, hoping to see Peridot awake. To her misfortune, she wasn't. The small olivine shivered in her lap, signalling she was probably cold (I don't care if gems don't get cold, I'm doing at anyways X3). Amethyst took the other's head off her lap and set it down beside her, then getting up to grab a blanket from a closet. She draped it over the olivine and herself, which seemed to help as the other calmed. A small smile grew on Peridot's face which pleased the other.

It was now about 15 minutes later (I know, sorry for all the time skips!). Peridot stirred from her unconscious state, eyes blurry but her vision quickly clearing up. She looked up to see Amethyst, softly smiling beside her. A blush formed on her face rather fast. Amethyst looked back down at the green gem, seeing her stare back, making her also blush.

"Mornin', Pear." She said, breaking the awkward silence. Peridot snapped out of her daze and quickly answered,

"Hello, Amethyst." She answered tiredly. It was no surprise since she had pretty much been asleep for the past 4 hours. She sat up a bit more, rubbed her eyes, and asked,

"What happened?"

"You fell off the roof trying to put up a solar panel." Amethyst answered, "Are you okay?"

"I-I think so..." Was the reply.

Not long after, Steven came into the room. He looked towards the two gems, smiling as they sat in awkward silence with a slight blush on their faces.

"Hey, you two!" He said, making his way over to the kitchen.

"Hey, Steven!" Amethyst greeted, turning more to him.

"Hello, Steven." Peridot added, smiling.

Thats it for now! Hope you enjoyed, so sorry that it's this short again! Next chapter there will be a big twist, just to let you know! This story will be shorter than I thought, so... X3

Anyways, have a great day/night, ily all, and goodbye!!!
