Icy hot pov:

I woke up quite late as it was the weekend and to my surprise my girlfriend y/n wasn't in the bed next to me as always. She must of woke up early and didn't wake me up. I mean I guess that's not unusual. I heard the shower going and I decided that I will go and brush my teeth and make brunch for me and y/n.

I knocked on the bathroom door

"I'm coming in to get ready" I said as I walked in but I didn't get a response so I thought that she couldn't hear me over the water. I walked into the bathroom and saw y/n through the glass of the shower door sitting on the floor of the shower hugging her knees as the water hit her I couldn't tell if she was crying or not. I didn't want to rush in too quickly because I don't know what's going on quite yet.

I brushed my teeth and then made my way over to the shower opening the door with a towel in my hand and turned the water off. Y/n looked at me with tears in her eyes, it hurts me sooooo much seeing her like this. I leaned down and kissed her forehead as I pulled her up and wrapped a towel around her helping her out of the shower.

I sat on the toilet seat and I sat her on my lap facing me and I started drying her soaking wet hair. I could tell she didn't want to talk at all so I didn't either I just let her sit in my embrace as I helped her get dry. She collapsed into my chest and started to cry into my shirt, I just held her tight and let her get it out of her system. I like to think that know exactly what she is going through and I know exactly what I signed up for when I asked her to go out with me, I know what I signed up for when I asked her to move in with me. Her being insecure doesn't change how I see her in the slightest and I try so hard every day to make her see that.

I set her down on one of the counters in our bathroom and I went to go and get some clothes to put on, I grabbed her favorite hoodie of mine and a pair of my boxers and her underwear and when back to where I put her. I handed her the underwear and waited for her to put them on. I hugged her from behind and turned us towards the mirror, she tried to move her head so she couldn't see her refection but I moved her head with my hand and kept it there so she couldn't move her head if she wanted too making her look at herself and she might behind her. I put my head in the crook of her neck.

"I know it's hard for you babygirl but hear me out"

I stared tracing over her arms with my finger analysing them as I went.

"You may think these are too chubby or they are too flabby but, I don't care as long  as I can hold you and you can return the action I don't care what they look like" I brought one of her hands up to my face and kissed it.

"You may think your hands are too small and your fingers are too fat but look" I started to hold her hand "They are the perfect fit for mine"

I stared to trace her silhouette again with my fingers as I got to her tummy and her hips I stoped and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Don't you ever think that this tummy is too big. I love it, every stretch mark and scar. I love it all and any bastard that has anything bad to say about I'll freeze them to death, no one talks bad about you and gets away with it. Even you. Don't say such negative things about yourself your amazing how you are."

I looked down at her thighs in the mirror

"And your thighs. There not fat, not at all. I love it when I have you on my shoulders and I feel the warmth of them or when we cuddle and you have your legs wrapped around mine, or when I fall asleep  in between them and they provide me with comfort and warmth. I love every ounce of your being"

I kissed her cheek and squeezed her tightly

"Stay here and put the clothes on I'll be right back" I said as I went to the bedroom and opened my bedside table and grabbed a little black velvet box I had hidden for some time, I've been waiting for this moment of where I could reassure her and let her know that I feel nothing but love for this woman.

I entered the bathroom to see her snuggled up in my hoodie while my hand was shoved him my pocket.

"Y/n L/n, you are the most beautiful and amazing woman I've ever seen in my life and just to show that" I took her hand and kneeled down on one knee "I,Shoto Todoroki, am asking you to grow old with me, love me, care for me and have children one day with me. And let me tell you I would be so overjoyed if they look like there wonderful mother. Will you please marry me" I said pulling the black box from my pocket

I could see tears well up in her eyes as she shook her head yes. She collapsed down to my level and pulled me tight. I put the ring on her finger and I pushed my lips onto hers and she obviously kissed back.

So maybe dreams do come true?
