Life.

"NO! DAMIEN! My baby no." I moved  head to show no maker on his head. I slowed my crying, and ran to the bed holding my son. "Oh my god please never scare me like that again." "Just because I spared him this once doesn't mean I will do it again. Give them to me." "I don't have them." "Everyone knows you are keeping them Burce." "What. I just met them today. They are in a different hospital. They haven't even gone to my house." I yelled with tears running down my face.

"Oh. So they're not here?" "No." I said, shaking my head. "Oh, my bad. I guess I will go then." "You really think you can leave?" Says Jim with a gun up to the clones head. "By the looks of it, no. I can't." Another cop walked into the room to help. "Get on your knees."  "Ok ok." The joker got on his knees and put his head up in the air. They left the man and the Commissioner alone.

"I'm so sorry that this happened." I can tell this made Jim uncomfortable knowing That a boy almost lost his life, and he just wanted me to cry on my knees. "It's ok, he's still ok. So if you still want them to come live with me they can." Jim's eyes grew wide almost like I just spoke another language. "Y-you still would let them?" "Like I said, someone has too." "Even after all of this you still go by your code?" he looked like he didn't believe what he just heard."Yeah I can't break it. If I do it's like me breaking a promise to my family. I could never do that." Jim had a look on his face that made him look like he just thought of something. "I guess you will never stop intel there's no one else to help huh?" He said jokingly.

"Yeah it's only right. But that day will never come. People will always need saving." He looked at me wide eyed. "You make it sound like you're a cop." I smiled and looked down. "Haha. If alone." I want his eyes one more time to have him looking at me like a little kid having candy in front of them for the first time.  "You want to be a cop?" He smiled at me. "Well I kinda wanted to be when I was little but now that I'm older. I think I'd rather stay with the company."

"I can see why. Anyways if you want I can let you drive in one of the police car's." my smile grew and I looked at him with big eyes. "Really? I would love to!" "Haha wow you're just like a little kid." "Yeah I do that a lot. I don't get to stay in a relationship, because I act like a child, it's not that I talk like one... It's the idea of me choosing to help my family instead of them." I have no idea why I told him that. I just feel like I can talk to Jim. "Bruce. That's not being a child that's being a man." I looked at him almost like he was an alien. "Really?" He looked at me like I was crazy. "Yes, you're a man, not a child."

"Thanks, but no one thinks that, but you. I just wish that you weren't the only one."
"I know how you feel. Sometimes life just gives you a little instead of a lot, but at least that little can grow." "And fall." I added in. "Yeah that happens too, but it's better to say things that are good then bad." I Know it is better but that's hard to do when you can't sleep at night because you dream of your dead parents and son.

Dream.
"I still can't believe that life out here is that different. No one knows what a head shake is. It's so weird out here. But I like it at the same time. I can't wait to see how things are going to go down here. I already know, I'm better than all of them. But I can't let them know that." "Why is that?" "Because they might not understand, and I don't want them too." "Well sometimes you need to let someone know other than keeping it to yourself."

Life.

"I know what you mean but I don't think I ca-" The men looked at each other to see if the other heard what the other one heard. Once they knew they both heard it they looked at the bed where the noise came from. They saw the boy move around trying to wake himself, but fell back to sleep. The men went to go get the doc to tell him that he tried to wake himself, but failed to do so. They were lit up with joy knowing he can move. ( It's a very good sign in the medical point of view. ) Once they told them they all came into the room to see if he will wake soon.

Time went by, and he moved once again, but only for a moment. He was trying really hard to wake himself up, but just couldn't. The Doctors were impressed that he can move when he has all of those broken bones. They know that this boy was something amazing. And they could not wait to meet him. But they knew he wouldn't like them that much knowing that they are strangers, but they don't mind.

Out of nowhere they saw something they never thought they would never see. He put his head out like he was about to shake someone's hand. They all watched with amendment. They couldn't believe this was happening. This boy was something no one has ever seen. They watched as the hand that was up in the air landed right on his head. They moved away so it didn't unplug anything. But once they moved his hand, they held onto his hand and moved him. They know that the boy knew someone was with him and that they were going to help.

They held his head until he let his head losined. They let go and felt like they were about to cry. They knew this boy was fighting with all of his might to wake up but failed. They never know someone could fight so much, hardly a little boy. But the idea of him trying over and over again and yet still failing. It shows that no matter what you do, you can only try, but it doesn't mean you will win. It just means you will fail but fail knowing you tried. They all cried knowing how alful Bruce felt. Knowing he might never know his son.

That is the worst part about it. Knowing that you will never hear your child's voice. That's the worst part. I wish we could help him and everyone else, but it's never going to happen. We can never save everyone. We will never be everyone's hero. "Hey you ok?" "Huh? Oh, sorry I was just thinking about the Wayne kid." "Oh yeah, I heard he keeps moving but not waking up." "Yeah. You would have thought he was up, but no, we tried everything. And all signs say he is not awake and he won't wake up either." I feel like I let the kid down.

"Hey we need doctors in room 390." "Oh no!" They ran as fast as they could to the door with the boy. They could see nothing but the lifeless child. There were doctors running in and out of the room trying to get the boy help but no one could help the boy for what was going to happen next. The boy's heart stopped and he was fighting for air. The sad part is when the Doctor that knew how to help him just walked in the door, when he was fined dead.
