Lily and James were in their fifth year at Hogwarts and the two had a bet.
James said that if he got all outstandings on his OWLS that Lily would have to kiss him.
Lily said that if he didn't get all outstandings he had to promise to leave her alone forever.
James walked by Lily and said "Evans".
Lily said "Potter".
Lupin was also walking with James he kindly smiled at Lily and said "Hi Lily how are you?".
Lily smiled at Remus and said "I'm good, Potter and I have a bet".
James turned around and walked back over to them and said "Yeah and I'm definitely going to win. I've been studying like crazy". James then leaned in close to Lily and whispered "Pucker up Evans".
Lily glared at him and said "You wish".
James then walked off with his friends as Remus waved at Lily goodbye.
Lily's friend Alice said, "Do you think he stands a chance".
Lily laughed and said, "No way".
Marlene laughed along with Lily and Alice and the three girls walked off to take their OWLS.
Later after their OWLS results came back, Lily had found out that James had won their bet, so she had been avoiding him for weeks until one day Sirius came up to Lily and said "Hey, Dumbledore wants to speak to you".
Lily said "Okay".
Lily walked off to Dumbledore's office however when she got there she couldn't find him instead she saw James Potter.
James smirked and said, "Hey Evans, where are you going?".
Lily said, "If you must know I'm off to talk to Dumbledore, he said he wanted to speak to me".
James laughed and said, "Yeah about that, I'm afraid Dumbledore is out on official business".
Lily said nervously laughing "What are you talking about?".
James said, "I mean that I won, you've been avoiding me".
Lily lied and said "No I haven't".
James didn't say anything, but he just simply looked at her.
Lily sighed and said, "Ok fine, yes I have".
James said, "You owe me a kiss".
Lily said, "No I don't".
James said, "Yes you do I got all outstanding's on my OWLS".
Lily started to walk away but James said as he walked over walking over to where she was and placed his hand on the wall "You owe me remember?".
Lily said in a completely different voice "James I can't".
James leaned in closer causing Lily to blush. Lily looked down but James lifted her face back up.
Lily said "James, please we can't".
James said "We made a bet Evans, you can't back out now".
Lily blushed even harder when James started kissing her neck.
Lily's face turned a bright red as she said "James what are you doing?".
James still continued to kiss her neck and it took all of Lily's willpower not to moan.
Lily said blushing "James, not here, anyone could walk in, also we can't do this". James kissed the sensitive part of her neck which made Lily whimper.
Lily said as James was still kissing her neck "James please, what are you doing".
James said in between kisses "Owing up to my half of our bet". He went back to kissing her neck and Lily was holding on to his shoulders. Lily hated to admit it but she was enjoying this, she whimpered again as he kissed another sensitive part on her neck.
Suddenly James stopped kissing her neck much to Lily's annoyance.
Lily said flustered "Why'd you stop?".
James didn't say anything but he leaned in and kissed her on the mouth.
Lily turned pink as his lips were on hers, she didn't know what to do, she tried to fight the urge of kissing him but eventually she gave in, kissing him like he had never been kissed before.
Lily wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him close to her, James then wrapped his arms around her waist practically lifting her off the ground as he kissed her.
After a very, very, very long time, James pulled away and Lily stood there quietly too shocked to form words.
James said, "Thought you hated me Evans".
Lily couldn't even say anything, she was thinking about their kiss, and it made her blush again.
James said, "Wow I have never seen you so speechless, Evans".
Lily leaned back in kissing James again much to his surprise, he kissed her back but then pulled away after a few seconds.
Lily said desperately "Why'd you pull away?".
James said "Cause we have class again soon".
Lily said "Oh right, class".
James smirked and said "I really left you that speechless huh?".
Lily blushed and nodded and then whispered "You're the first boy I've ever kissed".
James said in shock "Really?".
Lily nodded and said "Yeah really?".
James said "But you're smart, kind and beautiful".
Lily blushed and said "Thanks James".
James said "You're welcome".
Lily said "You're not so bad Potter".
James said "Does this mean you'll finally go out with me?".
James waited for the rejection but instead was surprised again when Lily kissed his cheek.
Lily smiled at James and said "You know that would actually be really nice. Yes i'll go out with you".
James smiled and said "Really?".
Lily said "Yeah James".
James laughed happily and hugged Lily twirling her in the air. He kissed her on the mouth once more before saying "I've gotta to go but I have so many questions". He rushed out of the room happily as Lily smiled after him.
