Riker P.O.V: It's been a month and everything has cooled down about the restaurant kiss. But new drama has stirred up. Cat is scared out of her mind about having the baby. And I wouldn't blame her. I would be scared too. But I can never be in her exact situation, so I'm lucky.
Rocky had been taking her to birthing classes. And she said there helpful. It's so weird to think that in one month our house will have to be quite. And our careers will have to be compromised for a baby. But I'm not going to complain, Cat feels bad enough about that already. Every chance she gets she apologizes.
And if things weren't crazy enough, Ross has been all over Cat, this week. You see Rocky's away with my dad getting one last week of fun. And Ross has been at her side every moment since he left three days ago. And she's not happy about it. "Ross... I just want to go downstairs." "Okay." He looked at her. "Alone." "Why, is everything okay?" "Yep." She opened the door to the basement. "Here, hold my hand, I'll lead you down." "Ross, I'm having a baby, I'm not the elderly. I can walk on my own." "Fine." He let her go, and came back to the living room.
Five minutes later the wind picked up and the ground started to shake. "Guys..." "Earthquake! Cover your head!" I buried Ash's head in my chest and covered my head with a pillow. Within seconds it was over. A few things had fallen off some shelves and Ratliff's drink was now in his lap. But everyone was fine. "Wait, where's..." "Cat!" We all got up and pushed back each other to get into the cellar.
Ashley P.O.V: "Cat!" I ran to her side, being the first to make it down the stairs. She was laying on her back, unconscious. "What do we do?" "Don't move her...um call an ambulance." My voice was shaky. Ryland went upstairs and called. "Ashley. She's bleeding." "Where?" I saw where Rydel was standing and my stomach instantly had knots. "We need to get her to the hospital now!" "The ambulance will be here in five." Ryland said kneeling down with us. "She's not gonna have her baby right now right?" "I don't know."
A few minutes later we heard the ambulance. "I'll go get the paramedics." Riker said.
Everybody let me go in the ambulance, because I'm the closest to her. I was starring at Cat, and the paramedic was checking her breathing. When I finally remembered. Rocky didn't know about this. I dialed his number faster than I ever did before. He was in Hawaii, that's about a three hour plane ride. And he needed to be here now!
"Hello?"
"Rocky!"
"Ash, I can't here you, where are you?"
"In an ambulance."
"What?"
"I'm in an ambulance."
"Oh, Why, is Cat okay?"
"No, she fell, after an earthquake, and she's knocked out."
"Oh, my god! Oh, my god!"
"Rocky!"He started freaking out.
"What?"
"It's gets worse. She started bleeding. From her...."
"Please tell me your kidding."My eye started to water.
"She's three weeks early. She can't have the baby now!"
"Get here, as soon as possible."
"I'm on the next flight there!"We pulled up on the hospital ramp, and they rushed her inside. I held onto the gurney, to stop myself from being left out. The doctors muttered things I didn't understand. But from what I took out of it, it wasn't good.
Rocky P.O.V: I don't think I've ever ran that fast in my life. But our car broke down half way to the hospital. And I couldn't wait for the tow truck. My dad told me to go, while he stayed with the car. "Hi, I'm here for Catherine Lynch!" I must have looked like a crazy person, because the desk lady backed up. "Room 203." She pointed to the left. And I ran down the hall. "199,200,201,202, 203!" I said reading the signs above every door. I almost slid past the door. "Babe?" Everybody was sitting around and Cat was just waking up. "Rocky...Rocky!" I rushed to her side. "Omg it is you....you came!" "Of course I did!" "Rocky, I'm scared." "I know. What'd the doctor say?" I asked looking around at everyone. "Um, when she fell, she went into labor. And they gave her a medication to slow down the progress of the labor. But she's still going to have it today." Ash knew all the answers. "Ow!" Cat screamed, in my ear. "What's wrong?" "Pain! I think it may be a contraction! Ow!" She was screaming. "Can you get my doctor?" I ran out of the room and came back with the doctor. "Okay Cat, you can't wait anymore, you are 10 centimeters." The doctor said. "Oh great!"
Everybody was told to leave, but me. "Okay baby, you can do this." I tried to give her confidence. A whole staff of people was in here now. "Okay, on the next contraction Catherine push." She looked right at me, and she didn't need to say anything. Just by the look in her eyes, I could tell she didn't want to do this. "Here it comes! Push!" She started to screamed. I stayed near her head, I didn't want to see that happening to her. She held my hand, and squeezed it tight. "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" She shouted at me. But I know she didn't mean it. "Okay you can take a break." "I want push again!" "I know but you have to wait for the next contraction, oh wait, here we go again. Push!" "Ahhh!" "Okay here's the head! One more big push for the shoulders!" "Ahhhhh!"
The baby wasn't crying. And it was kind of blue. "What's going on with my baby?" Cat asked shaking. "Why isn't it crying?" The other doctors were at a small baby table working on it. While a nurse talked to us. "You're three weeks early Catherine. Your babies lungs weren't completely done developing, so he needs a little help breathing." "Is he gonna be okay?" "Yes, we just need to help him breathe for awhile." She nodded. "Wait, did she just say he? It's a boy?" Rocky asked. "Yes." "Omg!" I gave her a hug. "Peter Mark Lynch?" She asked. "Peter Mark Lynch."
We sat there while they inserted a breathing tube into him. He had to stay on his own monitor, so we couldn't hold him. Cat couldn't get up to see him, she had to stay in bed. "Rocky, can you tell me what color his eyes are?" I turned to her. "There brown." "Really?" I don't know why but she always loved brown eyes. "Ya." I kissed her forehead and sat behind her. Putting my arms around her stomach.
There was a knock at the door. "Come in." I said. Trying not to scream. One by one the group came back in. Congratulating us, and asking us all the obvious questions. Which I mostly answered, because Cat was tired. "What's his name?" "Well, we chose. Peter, Peter Mark." "Awe..." Rydel squealed. "So how was it?" Ash asked her, curiously. "It hurt like hell. Believe me." I looked at the floor. "But..." She grabbed my hand. "It was worth it." I smiled.
*Three weeks later*
Cat P.O.V:
Peter can finally come home, and just in time too... They have tour coming up. Rocky really wants to stay home with me and the baby, but I'm insisting that he goes. "Rocky you have to go.." "Why?" "Because your band needs you." "Ya. And I need you and the baby." "Rocky, we'll be here when you get back." "Fine you want me to go!" "Shh.." I pointed to the hospital crib. Peter shifted a little.
He was doing better, much better. He can breathe on his own, and we can take him home. So I was packing up all of his things. "I don't want you to go! But I'm not going to ruin your band, I can't." "Fine, I guess we settled this.. I'm going!" He screamed. Peter started to cry, I walked over to the crib and picked him up, rocking him in my arms. "Fine, I guess you are." Rocky gave me a sad and mad look, as he stormed out of room 203.
