Oliver Wood, star Gryffindor Quidditch keeper, sat outside in the backward of the Weaslys house, or the Burrow, waiting for Fred and George to come outside. He came to train in being beaters for Quidditch.
"Mum! Ron won't leave us be! He insists on learning with us!" Georges voice rang out from inside the Burrow.
"Ron can practice with you guys. He won't be a distraction.'' Molly Weasleys voice replied with a oh-hush-and-go-practice sigh. Oliver chuckled to himself. He was a fifth year along with the twins older brother Percy.
Him and Percy weren't friends per say but, more like aquantinces. They helped each other with work, and comforted each other, and maybe a few times they had ki-okay, maybe they were friends.
"Hey Wood." Fred's voice shook Oliver out of whatever daze he was in. "Can we start practicing?" George eagerly shouted, as Ron ran out after them. "Okay, we can start." Oliver nodded and stood up.
The practice was going okay, until Ginny Weasely interrupted by sprinting outside in a pink and purple frilly bathing suit and flip-flops carrying a piece of parchment paper. "Take me swimming Percyyy!" she whined as Percy ran out after her, trying to get the parchment. "Ginny, in a bit, let me finish this!" he replied making a grab for it, but Ginny ran off.
"Mom! Percy won't take me swimming!" She shouted as Molly appeared in the doorway of the backyard.
"Percy, take your sister to the pond. You promised." she scolded.
"Why can't Bill or Charlie do it? I have to get this done."
"Yeah, in two months! C'mon Percy!" Ginny whined once more.
Oliver couldn't help but chuckle. The twins and Ron flew their brooms towards where Oliver was stopped. "Fine." He heard Percy give in. "Give me two minutes to change." he sighed, and headed inside.
"Mum! Can we go swimming too?!" Fred yelled. George and Ron shouted in agreement.
"If it's alright with Oliver. Of course you're welcome to join them if its alright." Molly shouted back. "Its alright, they did good. And I would but I don't have any trunks with me." Oliver replied as the twins and Ron flew down, and raced inside.
Oliver flew his broom down, and dismounted. "Oliver, dear, I'm sure Percy has some trunks you could borrow." Molly started, and without letting him answer, she ran upstairs, and into Percys bedroom. A very startled, and voice cracked shout from Percy later, and she reappeared with some trunks.
"Here you are Oliver. You can go change in the bathroom." she said sweetly, as if she hadn't just barged into Percys bedroom while he was, Oliver assumed, naked.
"Thanks Mrs. Weasley." he quickly said and went towards the bathroom.
As he was changing he heard Percys steps thundering down, and Ginnys lighter steps running out the door. He quickly finished changing, and walked out, only swim trunks and a shirt on. "You swim in a shirt?" Ron asked, he was standing outside, shirtless and pasty white, along with Fred and George, who were a bit tanner.
"'Course he doesn't you git, he just put it on to walk to the pond." Fred scoffed, and pushed Ron, who glared at him and ran off.
"C'mon Wood, race ya!" George yelled, as he and Fred took off, running towards the pond. Oliver easily beat them.
When he got there, he saw Percy, Ron, and Ginny in an intense splash fight. Percy looked up at Oliver and gave him a small smile. "Oli!" he smiled.
"Hey Perce!" The two boys acknowledged each other presence for the first time. Fred and George had made it down and were running towards the rope swing that was hanging off a tree branch over the bank. Fred grabbed in a swung into the water, splashing all the Weasleys in the water. George in turn did the same thing, but managed to splash Oliver too.
"Come on in Wood!" One of the twins yelled. Oliver nodded and stripped off his shirt, exposing his pale skin and slight abs from Quidditch. He noted Percy when he looked at Oliver up and down once or twice. He ran to the water and dove in. It was quite warm.
"Tag! You're it!" Ginny squealed tagging Percy, then swimming away. Percy chuckled and swam quickly towards Fred and George, who were attempting to do... who knows what. "You're it Fred!" He shouted and quickly dove underwater. Fred tagged George and followed suit to what Percy did.
The game continued for half an hour and Oliver was it. He attempted to tag Ron but Rons dove under water before he could catch him. Fred and George were sitting on the bank, George having cut his foot on a rock. It was just Oliver, Ginny, Ron and Percy. Well, Oliver hadn't seen Percy recently, but that was until he saw a flicker of red hair behind a tree branch hanging over the pond.
He quickly swam towards it, and dove under, surfacing under the umbrella of branches, and facing Percy. "This was a good hiding spot Perce." he chuckled. Percy laughed, and tried to escape, but Oliver pinned him against the tree.
Percy gave him a 'oh-so-this-is-what-we're-gonna-do' look, and rolled his eyes jokingly. He grabbed Oliver's arms and flipped around so Oliver was pinned against the tree. Oliver was a inch or two taller than Percy, but it didn't matter. Oliver knew how to get out of this predicament, and surged forward, pressing his lips onto Percys. Percy kissed back, and Oliver ran his hands through his curly red hair. Oliver pulled away, and used Percys shock to reflip the around so Percy was against the tree once more. "You're it Perce." he chucked, then pecked Percy once more before diving under the water and swimming away.

"Kids dinner!" Molly shouted. Everybody was out of the water except Ginny, whom Percy had to pick up and carry to get her to leave. The group all made their way back, and saw Molly had made hotdogs. They all quickly grabbed some food and ate as if they hadn't eaten in days.
Molly chuckled when Percy wiped ketchup off Olivers face with a napkin, and Oliver turned red.
"Sorry, habit." Percy mumbled, his face flushed.

"Oliver, it's pretty late, I insist you stay over. I've gotten a call from your parents and they say it's alright." Molly said when Oliver realized what time it was.
"Really? Thanks Mrs. Weasley!" The scot smiled. "You can sleep in Percys room." she smiled.
"Now, with that being said, everyone under the age of twenty, upstairs and get ready for bed." she commanded. The group all scrambled upstairs.

"Here Oli." Percy said, and threw some sweat pants and a shirt at Oliver. Percy was dressed in a faded Puddlemere United shirt, and white and black flannel patterned pajama pants. "Perce, isn't that my shirt? You've always been partial to the Holyhead Harpies." Oliver said slyly.
"Probably, with the mess you make in the dorm, those sweat pants are probably yours too." he simply replied.
"How are we gonna sleep you only have one bed." Oliver noted aloud.
"I can transfigure a bed or we can share. Not like we haven't done it before." Percy chuckled, looking at Oliver.
"You're right"
"I know"
Oliver gave Percy a funny look as Molly yelled "Lights out!"
"We sharing?" Oliver asked, though he already knew the answer. "mhm.'' Percy replied and Oliver walked over to Percys bed, and climbed in next to him, the bed was small so Oliver just wrapped his arm around Percy, and even though Percy didn't have to, he wrapped his arm around Oliver.
Just as they were both about to fall asleep, Percy sleepily mumbled "Oli, by the way.." he took a deep breath,
"You're it"
