As the days went by, Mitch noticed that the contractions hit him more and more. It was the night after his birthday, the very first hours of July 25, when he just couldn't sleep.
He tried getting up because he felt like he had to use the bathroom, he walked into the bathroom and barely made it to the toilet when his body sort of gave out on him, and he at first thought he peed on the floor. When he realized that it wasn't piss, and a contraction was hitting him, he finally realized thathis water broke.

"Scott!" Mitch cried out and sat down on the toilet, breathing heavily through his contraction, Scott rushing to the bathroom in seconds.
"Babe, what happened?!" Scott stepped over Mitch's mess and went to him, "baby?"
"My water broke." Mitch breathed out and Scott went into panic daddy mode.
"I'll get the keys and Harmony. You sit here, look pretty! We're having a baby! I need to calm down!" Scott said panicked. When Mitch's contractions went away and he had a period of rest, he cleaned the bathroom floor, and he called Kirstin.
"Mitch?" She said tiredly into the phone.
"My water broke." Mitch said, tears coming out of his eyes.
"Holy shit- I was at your house like three hours ago?!"
"Kirstie it hurts." Mitch whined and Kirstie soothed him, like he did her.
"Just remember that soon you will have a gorgeous baby girl. And not only that, but a happy family. Mitch you're so fucking strong, honey. Let Scott take care of you. I'll be in the hospital in the morning, okay? I need to feed the twins and sleep."
"Ok- fuck!" Mitch whimpered and tried to breathe through the contractions again, Kirstie hanging up and Scott coming into the bathroom with a sleepy Harmony in his hands.

He dressed her in a simple two piece hoodie and joggers set, and he was wearing something similar. He had his keys in his hands and his phone and jacket on. He also had the ring in his joggers pockets.
"C'mon baby, it's time to go to the hospital." Scott helped Mitch to the car, and put Harmony in the car seat, before getting Piper's baby bag and Harmony's baby bag and going to leave.

Mitch was in the delivery room, and Scott had to wake up Matt and Kevin so they can come watch Harmony. Mitch refused to be cut open unless Scott was in the room, no matter how much the baby wanted to come out. Matt and Kevin were there within fifteen minutes, and Beau was also on his way. When Scott was back in the delivery room, Mitch was finally numbed and Scott held his hand through the whole thing.
"I'm so fucking proud of you, gorgeous. So so proud." Scott kissed Mitch's hand and Mitch smiled tiredly, waiting to be cut open.
