Daichi Terashima is an average 15-year old boy who recently transferred to a new school. He is very nervous when he walks in the hallways, until he meets up with his closest friend Hiro Nakamura. They use sign language to talk about their summer vacations, and it doesn't take long before Hiro introduces Daichi to the art and design club for curricular activities. Knowing he didn't use his skills in a long time, Daichi eventually signs up, and the two enter together. This is where the two meet Mina and Akio Suwabe, Hanabi Mitsubishi and Kanae Hanadera. Kanae has been talking to Hanabi until she notices Daichi. When the students introduce themselves, something strikes in Kanae, wanting to know Daichi better.
