Chapter 4

Y/n's pov

I woke up to someone poking me "shorty? Wake up" I opened my eyes to see I was sleeping on hawks. I got up quickly "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to i-" he cut me off by placing a finger over my mouth. "it's OK, we fell asleep watching the movie" he smiled. Damn, I love that smile. Tokoyami walked in "hey toko. We'll be leaving soon so could you two go get into your hero costumes?" hawks said. Tokoyami and I went upstairs to our rooms.

I walked downstairs to see hawks and tokoyami talking by the door. Hawks just stared at me when he saw me before saying "Took ya long enough" with a devilish smirk. "hey! You try have something with multiple parts" I pouted. "OK ok. Now that we're all here, let's go" he said before leading us out the door and to his car.

"I don't see why we had to come in our hero costumes if we're just gonna sit around doing nothing all day," I said. "you never know, there could've been a sudden villain attack that we had to take care of. Besides you need to get used to wearing your hero costume around." he pointed out. He got a call and picked it up, signalling for us to shut the fuck up. Once he put the phone down, he took tokoyami outside to have a talk with him alone. Hawks came back in and sat on the couch opposite me "where's tokoyami?" I asked. "he had to go home, there was a couple of family issues" he responded. Hawks got back up and started doing more work on his computer so I just played games on my phone.

A couple of hours had passed and my phone died. I threw it on the couch "I'm boooorreeed" I groaned. Hawks laughed and walked over to me "well it is about time we should be leaving" he said. I grabbed my phone and followed him to his car.

He stopped in a random car park (or parking lot, whatever you wanna call it) "wanna go have dinner at a restaurant?" he asked. "sure" I replied, not really caring where we eat. "this is the closest place I can park so we're going to have to walk from here" he said, getting out of the car. "that's fine" I said as I started to follow him.

There was a lot of fans that wanted to get pictures, signatures, that sorta thing. I was being pushed around by the crowd so hawks put an arm around me to make sure he didn't lose me. Eventually, we managed to get away from the crowds and went into the restaurant. Although hawks still had his arm around me, I was trying not to blush but I could feel my face getting hotter. We sat at a small booth in a VIP room so we didn't get swarmed with more fans. The waitress handed us menus and walked away. Damn, hawks is so hot, his smile, his eyes, his abs everything about him is just per-. I was snapped out of my thoughts by hawks saying "ya know, it's rude to stare." I blushed and hid my face behind my menu.

Hawks' pov

I caught y/n staring at me, "ya know, it's rude to stare" I said with a small smirk. She blushed slightly and hid her face behind her menu. She's so adorable when she's flustered. Wait no! She's just my intern. I pushed her menu down so I could see her face. "it's fine, I mean who wouldn't want to stare at all this?" I said with a cocky smile. She laughed slightly "you're so full of yourself," she said, rolling her eyes playfully.

We got our food and I started eating straight away. "you like chicken?" I heard y/n ask. "ye?" I replied, slightly confused. "but isn't that... Cannibalism?" she asked. "i- damn I never thought about it like that" I replied and then shrugged "it's not gonna stop me eating it though," I said before stuffing more of it in my mouth. She laughed. That laugh, it's so adorably perfect. "now look who's staring." y/n said smirking.

Y/n's pov

We'd got back to hawks' place and I'd just got changed when I heard hawks from downstairs "shorty? Y/n! Come downstairs!" I was extremely confused and ran downstairs, thinking it could be an emergency.

I started pacing around the room. "oh no, this is bad. This is really bad. I could get expelled from ua. Then I'd lose my dream job of becoming a hero and probably all the other jobs I had a chance a-" hawks cut me off "I understand, but you might wanna answer that" he pointed to my phone which I didn't realise was buzzing like mad. An unknown number.

"Hello?"

"L/N! YOU BETTER EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"

"Aizawa i-" I'm cut off by hawks taking the phone from me and walking out of the room, presumably to convince Aizawa it wasn't true.

Hawks walked back in and gave me my phone back. I jumped off the sofa "well?" "it's OK kid, he understands," he assured me. I let out a sigh of relief and went up to my room.

I was about to turn my phone off when I realised I had messages from the girl squad chat.
