I'm extremely sorry for such a long drag! Well for starters I apologize for the late update but I assure you on my love of chocolates that I'll make sure to update every Friday!.
Emma'S POV
"Mrs. Wh-Annie" I correct myself.
"I can't thank you enough for letting me spend the night!"
"Oh it's alright honey if you have to thank anyone then it's my teddy, he's the one who saved you from the icy-cold weather"
I turn towards Tarren only to find him staring at me with a smile on his face. And suddenly I was at a loss of words.
*Annie cleared her voice and I put my head down embarrassed at what just happened*
"Emma, honey why don't you stay for breakfast? I'm pretty sure you'll love the food I cook!"
"Ummm I don't want to trouble you... It's alright Annie I'll come another time-"
"DOES THAT MEAN YOU'LL COME AGAIN???" Tarren screamed interrupting me.
I looked at him blinking my eyes registering what had just happened.
Annie knocked his head and chuckling she said, "I insist."
I stood up to follow Annie and suddenly I was pulled back to Tarren's arms.
"What the-the hell ar-are are you doing?" I ask as my heartbeat starts pacing up.
"How are you feeling right now?"
I blinked.
He stood there waiting for me to reply.
And I blinked again.
"Emma?"
"Yea?"
"I ask-"
My stomach growled in hunger and I look at him embarrassed.
He chuckles and shakes his head and then took my hand and dragged me to the dining table.
I saw two new faces who were busy chattering with each other sitting on the couch.
Tarren looked at me and then looked at them and cleared his voice.
"Ahem" "Dad, Jen this is Emma and Emma this is my dad, Andrew White, and my annoying younger sister Jennifer White"
"Hello, Emma! It's nice to meet you. Come join us." Mr. White spoke cheerfully.
"Can I call you em? And you're so pretty!" Said a voice who was holding to my skirt looking at me.
"Aww, thanks, Jen! You're much prettier than me honey!"
Tarren scoffed and I looked at him raising my eyebrows.
