I was cleaning the pool with Gabby the next day.

"looking good" we turn to face Ryan oh wow.

"wow Wildcat!" Gabby exclaims

"to much" we put down our poles

"Only in daylight" Gabby replied

"hey at least he's trying. East High Colours though very impressive" i joke laughing

"hey be true to your school right"

"absolutely" we replied

"everyone's excited about doing the show" Gabby informs him

"hey i know everyone thinks I'm Sharpay's poodle, but ..." i jump on his back.

"Ry if they were thinking that, they are like not today." i laugh

"hey how do you do that step you were doing last night" Gabby asks

"yes and can you do it while I'm on your back" i joke

"i'll try like this" he showed her and we all got tangled up.

"hey" i let go from Ryan's back

"hey" i replied

"hey" Ryan and Gabby chirped

"So, i called last night. I got hung up at the gym" he told me

"yeah figured as much"

"My dad says you're doing great with those college guys." Ryan tries to defuse the tension

"oh yeah, they're awesome playing with them is like being in another world" he smiles

"some world" i comment to Gabby but i think they heard me

"well you missed out on a fun night. It was a great game" Gabby smiled

"yes this man has moves" i pointed to Ryan who imitated a swing.

"But dessert was the best she and her sister make the best brownies in the entire universe" Ryan took hold of my shoulders as i giggled

"yeah i know I've had them"

"well I'll see you guys later" Ryan nods before leaving i look a Troy who says nothing just leaves.

"anyway less of my drama what is going on with you and Ryyyyyaaaan"

"nothing why?"

"oh please i can see you totally like him. I think you should flirt a little get him to ask you out on a date." i wiggle my eyebrows.

"shut up"

"Oh Ryan" i mock fainting and fall in the pool. coming back up i laugh with her.

That night as me and Gabby were leaving we heard You are the Music in me only it was upbeat and horrible. Troy was on stage with Sharpay.

"oh no she didn't" i folded my arms

"how's that hope" Gabby asked

"fading fast."
