Adorable Idiot

That Monday night they had finished brainstorming a ton of new ideas for their channel. It was getting late, but Gavin's parents were not going to be home, so Michael was going to stay the night. The two boys had just finished ramen lovingly prepared by Michael. They were on Gavin's living room couch, Michael sitting with Gavin laying down, and his head on Michael's lap. They were watching an old re-run of Game of Thrones (one of their favorite shows). Michael was gently running his hand through his boyfriend's soft sandy hair, just the way Gavin liked it. Michael couldn't help but notice that Gavin had been very absorbed in his phone the whole night. Gavin chuckled softly to himself as he began typing yet again on his phone.
"Gavy, what are you all wrapped up in?"
"Oh you know, just texting."
Now Michael did have a little trouble with jealousy, but he didn't want that to come between him and Gav, so he decided to lay off and try to not let it bother him.
The two finished up their show and headed of to bed, snuggled up together. In the morning, the alarm beeped and beeped, and the boys got ready together and soon headed off to school. Michael still observed that his boy was texting non stop, and he couldn't imagine who. The whole day it was pestering him.
After school, they headed to Gavin's house again with hopes to add another video to their YouTube channel. As they were walking, Michael pondered, "so, Gavy, who is this person you have been texting day and night?"
"Oh, it's just Dan, my old pal from England, no big deal. Is someone a bit jealous?"
"Well what if I say I am, but only because I am crazy about you?"
"Well then I would say that that is completely adorable, Michael, and if you are so worried, then you can read the conversation. I am an open book."
Michael peered down at the phone. The conversation was littered with flirts and wink emoji's (mostly from Dan, but that's beside the point).
"Um, Gavin?"
"Yes, love?"
"Were you and this Dan guy ever a thing?"
"Of course not, he was just my best mate!"
"Gavin, you adorable idiot, this guy is completely head over heels in love with you. I swear, you are the cutest, most oblivious person, I have ever met!"
"He is not!"
Michael read out some of the more flirty parts of the conversation
"Ohhh, well I guess when you put it that way I can see where you are coming from."
Michael grabbed the phone and called Dan. On the first ring, Dan picked up.
Michael began, "listen up Dan, I know that you have probably known my boy Gav for longer, but this little british lunatic is the love of my life. I want to express one thing. He. Loves. Me."
And with that, Michael hung up the phone.
"Michael, you jealous bastard!" Gavin said with a smile.
"You make me crazy! Get over here!"
Michael made like he was going in for a kiss, but pulled Gav into a head lock and gave him a noogie.
"Hey Michael! Stop that you crazy person!"
Michael then kissed him for real, and later that evening, filmed a hilarious Slenderman video. They uploaded it, and spent the rest of that Tuesday evening together, and Gavin didn't even pick up his phone once. He had all of the attention he needed.
