Kevin might have slipped through our fingers, but we were still searching. The Raptor Virus was with him wherever he was hiding. For all we knew he could be half way across the world. The only thing that worried us more than the Raptor Virus was the fact that Kevin knew everything about us. He could sell us out to anyone who would be willing to pay him for the information. If that ever happened then we would be in worse trouble.

It has been two weeks since everything has happened and since Xavier is back in charge. I have also been out of my cast for a week now, but he won’t let me back into the field. Xavier is super protective of his Agents after they have been hurt. My third mission I had gotten badly hurt and he didn’t let me back out into the field for a whole year.

Xavier sent every field Agent we have except me out to search for Kevin. Whenever I ask him why he always says it is because I need to rest up for when I have to face him. That I am the only one who can take Kevin down. However, all of this inaction has given me way too much time to think of ways to make Kevin pay for ever betraying me. He and I got so close over the last few months. I rarely let anyone get close so when he betrayed us it stun.

I stood next to Xavier in the control room hoping that he would get tired of my presence and send me on a mission. I was lost in my own thoughts until Xavier started speaking, “I just got an update from Michael. Still nothing new with locating Kevin. Since I only got to know him for a few weeks before I was captured, he must have picked up all of his techniques and great hiding skills from you.” I knew it was a compliment, but I didn’t want to hear it. It was still too soon. I wanted Kevin to pay. “How are you?”

“I’m fine.”

“No you are not. I can sense how much you want to go out there and track Kevin down. I told you, you need to be ready to fight him. You two have most likely spared together a lot more than I did or any of the other Agents. Which means you are the perfect person to take him down.” Xavier told me. I growled. If I had been anyone else Xavier would have fired me on the spot. After wiping my memory of course.

“Why can’t I be the one to get the satisfaction of finding him?” I asked.

“Because that won’t be enough satisfaction. You won’t ever let his betrayal go until you take him down.” How Xavier knew that Kevin had betrayed me was beyond me. “Crystal?”

“Yes?”

“Just promise me that when we do find Kevin you won’t let revenge guide you.”

“What?”

“You know what I am talking about.”

“Yes sir. I won’t let revenge guide me.”

“Good.”

Just then a thought struck me, “Sir?”

“Yes Crystal?”

“I think I know where Kevin is hiding.”

I told Xavier how when Kevin and I were searching for him things would get pretty heated. Sometimes things would get too much for me. Kevin saw how stressed I was and decided that we needed a place all to ourselves where we could go to relax. It was an abandoned building that only we knew about. We each picked a floor to be all ours to decorate and to call our relaxing space.

Because we were the only two who knew about it none of the Agents out searching would have any thought to search it. If they even came across it. Xavier looked at me and sighed. I knew that meant I had won. “I will be careful.” I said.

“I know you will. Just bring him back here in cuffs. Do you hear me? Bring him in and don’t come back until you do.” Xavier ordered.

“You got it!” I raced away. I had taken to wearing my spy outfit everywhere in case Xavier ever decided to let me out into the field. However, I had to run to my room to grab my belt. Once I had it I ran out of headquarters and headed towards the abandoned building.
