Chapter 5 ~ feelings

* Skipping the day till after school * 

When I came home I was still thinking about what Courtney told me this morning. I couldn't believe it. L.A wasn't L.A without her. My mood kinda changed when I opened the door. " HI GIIIIRL " Is what my mom said , don't ask me why she was so excited, cause honestly I didn't know. "Um , Hi mom.? " Is what I said. Then I saw my brother sitting on the couch , and next to him, was the cute guy named Jack. I felt butterflies, And idk why because, I don't even know him yet. "Hi " is what i said to them and they said hi to me too. Jack was the only one that noticed that I was sad. I was immediatly going upstairs and closed my door. I decided to scroll through instagram  and then I saw a picture that my brother posted on his instagram. It was a picture of him and Jack. I looked if my brother tagged him and he did , I smiled. I almost clicked on the follow button but then I dropped my phone cause Jack came in and he scared me. "Sorry, never meant to scare you haha. " , " No , it's okay " . I was confused cause I thought he was lost or something I mean why would he come in my room. " So u look a bit sad " Is what he said. " Oh, well I'm not haha just go downstairs and watch a movie with my brother" ,  I mean he wasn't here for me right? " U can trust me, just tell me what's wrong, I wanna help you" And that's where i felt the butterflies again. " Oh ... " Is what I said ,  and then I started blushing. I felt so akward because I'd love to kiss him already but I don't even know him. Then I told him about the fact that my best friend Courtney was moving, about how much she meant to me, because when my heart was broken she was the one that was there for me,  I told him so much and he listened to everything that I was saying. " I feel bad for u " Is what he said. " I know your feeling, I've had it too, the broken heart you know. A lot of times honestly. " I never expected him to say that, I never knew girls broke hearts . I felt bad for him cause whoever wants to break a heart of someone that looks like THAT. After we talked a lot we stared at each other for 2 minutes straight. He smiled at me and I smiled back. He was the sweetest boy I've ever met, and also the cutest. Then Anthony ruined the moment with " Hi Jack, were you ever planning to come back? " , Jack laughed. "Haha yea sorry bro. " , He looked at me again and smiled, " Well talk to you later Madison . " My heart melted when he said my name.
