Dan and Andy entered into what seem to be the basement. Halfway in it, a bad smell lingered in the air and they already knew what it was. A dead corpse rotting around somewhere. "I know you smell that, Andy. Somebody is dead up in this shit and obviously the motherfucker just killed them and threw them in here to rot." The redheaded male said in disgust. The basement was empty and a bit dark, a few cobwebs in corners. The boys took out their flashlights, turning them on as the deeper they went in, the darker it got.

Andy made several attempts to ignore the smell of a dead person and hope that he wouldn't even see the corpse. Unfortunately, he wasn't paying attention and nearly fell over when his foot rammed into something. The boy quickly looked back, putting his flashlight on the ground and saw what he didn't wanted to see.

A dead body.

It seem to still be decomposing but there were millions of maggots on its body and there was a hole in middle of the upper torso. No internal organs were seen so all you can see is the maggots and the rib cage. The head was completely missing from the body and the legs were gone too. Andy turned away and lean forward, vomiting onto the floor. Dan hadn't noticed until he heard the sound of something splatting onto the floor. "Shit." The older boy went over to his friend, moving him away from the deceased corpse.

"You okay, Andy?" He asked up, glancing back over at the body.

The brunet boy nodded and wiped his mouth. "Yeah, I'm good, I'm good." He replied before walking, wanting to forget about the body. He just wanted to get this mission done and over it. If he saw another corpse then he will lose it. At the training camp, they were told that vampires are brutal creatures that will do the unbelievable or anything above that to a human but Andy wasn't expecting that. Perhaps this push him even further into wanting to execute the vampire.

"It's really fucked up what this vampire is doing. A prime example as to why all vampires need to be killed. All they do is take innocent lives just for blood and murder them in the most fucked up ways." Dan commented. He was talkative than Andy since he does have a loud mouth. Dan is more hype about killing the vampire than Andy is. He's just not showing it physically though. The basement wasn't that big, they passed a few empty chambers before coming across a rusty metal door.

"This might lead us to the main rooms and such." Dan told Andy, who nodded. The redhead male opened the door and it showed a long dark hallway, pieces from the concrete wall missing and falling apart. Andy sighed in frustration, "Why is this taking so long?" After what he just saw, he really wanted to get the job done and get out of this awful place. Dan chuckled and patted Andy's shoulder.

"Relax, this will be done before you know it."

They began to walk down the hallway. It was quiet and the only thing you can hear was the footsteps of the two hunters. They reached the end of it which lead to another door. "Ryan should of given us a layout of the mansion or anything useful for us to use." Andy commented again, opening the door and it was another hallway but the floor had black carpet going all the way down and a few closed doors were present. There were a few lights on the walls but they weren't on. Dan's eyes lit up, beaming with excitement and took out the syringe that held the substance to kill any vampire within in an instance. Andy looked worried although the tried his best to hide it, he couldn't.

Dan opened his mouth and whispered, "Okay, be careful. The vampire could be in any of the rooms or somewhere. Just keep a look out." The shaking male nodded slowly and suddenly feeling lightheaded. He leaned on one of the walls, trying to calm himself by taking deep breaths. His friend noticed and seen him mumble before going over to him.

"Hey hey, relax Andy. Relax, try to focus on the mission." Dan attempted to reassure him but with him like this, he doubted that they were going to finish. Andy wasn't cut out for this, he was slowing them down and Dan didn't wanted to be rude but it was true.
