Ch.4 || Seeing Him Again ||

~ Your P.O.V ~

"I can't believe that happen Kyotani Kentaro saved you?!" April shouted on the phone making me slightly winced.

"Y-yeah uhm from a group of boys yesterday but I never got to thank him, do you know what he likes the most to eat?" I asked walking around in my kitchen I had to be at school within 2 hours since I got up early and April normally goes on a quick jog.

"Uhm...let's see, well normally I only see him eating chicken," She said in confusion mostly about why I asked such a question.

"Alright thank's! I'll see you later April!" I said hanging up quickly, I went into the kitchen and started cooking.

~ Time Skip ~

I hadn't seen Kyotani at all around the school so that slightly upset me, I was making my way to the gym holding B/n's hand seeing April already waiting for me outside of the gym's door. "There you are Y/n I was wondering where you were," She said with a smile then looked down at B/n. "Hey there buddy, I'm April, Y/n's friend," She said holding her hand out towards him but he shyly hid behind my leg looking up at her.

"Sorry, he's shy," I said with a giggle escaping my legs patting his head to show it was ok.

"Ah I understand where he would get that from" She teased looking at me with a smirk on her face.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I said walking into the gym and bumping into someone. "s-sorry I didn't mean to bump into you" I stuttered out shyly not even looking up to see the person.

"Told you" April whispered making me look at her with a playful glare.

"Sorry" I heard the person in front of me say thinking it was a boy because of the sound of his voice was a bit deep and smooth, I felt my cheeks heat up at the thought turning around slowly to look up at the person in front of me to come to eye contact with a pair of familiar golden-brown coloured eyes looking back into my own e/c ones. 

"Y-your the guy who saved me" I whispered out shyly starting to fiddle with my fingers.

"Well I'll leave you two to talk and I'll take B/n to the benches so we can watch the practice," April said making me nod shyly as she took B/n over to the benches at the side and sat down on one of them.

He was looking at me like he was expecting me to say something, I didn't notice his team was looking at us and whispering. I glanced up at him letting out a nervous giggle, pulling a box out that was wrapped in a yellow piece of fabric tied up. "I had to ask April for a little help on to kinda finding you if it sounds weird not, I don't know does it sound weird or stalkerish" I started to ramble looking down at the box. "Anyway, I uhm made you some chicken since that's what I heard you like, oh and uhm my name is Y/n L/n," I said shyly holding the box towards his and his eyes were widen in shock. "I made it as a thank you gift for saving me from the group of boys that were making me uncomfortable," I said with a smile on his face, he took the box in his own hands with a slight blush on his cheeks looking at me then to the box.

"Thanks" He muttered looking at me with a smile but that quickly disappeared.

"Mad dog~Chan stop flirting and come train!" I heard a childish male voice call out from behind him, I glanced at the boy then looked at Kyotani.

"You better go train I guess, uhm I guess I'll be watching then," I said shyly walking off to April who was smirking at me and wiggling her eyebrows.

My face was bright red when I took a seat next to her, I placed my hands over my face. "How'd it go~" She nudged my shoulder making me look at her with a horrible look.

"Horrible, I bet I sounded like a stalker and made a fool out of myself" I mumbled burying my face back in my hands.

"How would you sound like a stalker and make a fool out of yourself?" April asked as I just explained to her about the moment that went on when she left. "Ok... Maybe a little bit creepy but hey he keeps glancing at you," She said trying to lighten the mood.

I slowly lifted my head up from my hands look over to where Kyotani was as he was looking at me, I felt my cheeks heat up looking away from him then to the side avoiding his gaze. I heard a whistle blow turning my head to look at the game going on, I was watching his every move as he was waiting to hit it. I noticed he started to move fast making my eyes widen from surprised as he jumped up knocking someone back on the ground slamming the ball on the other side with such force slamming on the ground with smack noise as the ball bouncing away as the opposite members looked shocked at what happened as well.

I felt my eyes sparkle clasping my hands together, it was such a powerful strike no one could tell was even coming. "Woah what a strong spike" April muttered with a hint of jealousy in her voice.

"It was hard to even notice he does have powerful strength," I said as people were recovering from the shock, I stood up clapping my hands loudly and shouting. "SO COOL!" making everyone shocked out my sudden outburst as they looked at me, I felt nervous and slightly embarrassed as my face turned bright red and quickly sat back down covering my face.

"Ehhh...kitten~chan can shout" I heard one of the team members say with a hand on his hip with a large grin on his face.

"Shut up shittykawa and let's continue training," Another guy said smacking behind his head making him whine in reply.

"Aaa, your so mean Iwa~Kun," The boy said rubbing the back of his head.

"The one with the childish tone it Oikawa and the other one who smacked him was Iwaizumi" April whispered in my ear making nod in reply as I glanced at her then looked over at the practice as it continued going on while B/n was asleep on my lap.

~ After The Training Was Finished ~

"That was so cool," I said looking over at April. "It makes me miss playing volleyball again," I said with a sad sigh as April smiled at me.

"You should come, your brother can wait at the benches until it's over of course," She said making me nod in response as B/n looked at me with excitement.

"You used to play Volleyball?" B/n asked surprised by the fact I used to play volleyball.

"That's right she was the best middle school girl's setter known," April said to my brother who looked even more surprised if even possible.

"Who's the best setter I heard?" I heard a male voice call out turning my head to see two boys heading towards us one with a stupid grin on his face and the other who didn't seem to care much.

"Ah Y/n is of course not you Oikawa" April replied with a smirk plastered on her face giving him a teasing look.

"So cruel April~Chan," The person is known as Oikawa said in a childish tone with a pout. "And hello kitten~chan you must be the new girl around I've seen and heard around the place," He said looking at me with a wink.

"Uhh kitten?" I asked not fazed by his flirting I was more confused while B/n was glaring up at Oikawa.

"You didn't know Y/n? Everyones named you a kitten for being shy and adorable" She said looking over me which I looked over at her with my face red and eyes widened. 

"Ehhh!? but it's only the third day I've been here and I'm already known as something" I fiddled with my fingers shyly mumbling a few words.

"Anyway Y/n this Oikawa captain of the boy's volleyball team and this is Iwaizumi if you must know they act like a couple," April said with a smirk on her face clearly teasing the two boys.

"We are not a couple" Iwaizumi replied with a sigh rolling his eyes. "I would never date trashykawa" He replied looking at April, I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing.

I glanced around seeing the others cleaning up the gym. "Shouldn't you two be helping out?" I asked suddenly confused looking back at the two.

"Ah yes but first I'd like to get your number kitten~chan," Oikawa asked with a flirty look making me uncomfortable.

"Let's go shittykawa you're making her uncomfortable" Iwaizumi smacked him behind the head before dragging him back to the rest of the team. 

"Ow Iwa~Chan your so harsh!" Oikawa whined rubbing his head.

I let out a giggle before looking at April who sighed shaking her head. "Don't blame me you wanted to check them out" I said walking out of the gym with her while holding B/n, I glanced back looking into a familiar pair of golden-brown eyes looking back at me making me quickly look away with my cheeks slightly pink.
