Chapter One

Braden's P.O.V.

I walked down the hall laughing with my best friend Kayden.

"Oh come on Braden! Everyone knows your gonna find a non-werewolf mate." Kayden smirked.

That only made me laugh harder. "Please! We both know that's not true....And if it is it won't make a difference at all." I added.

Kayden was my Alpha, or the leader of my pack. He already had a Luna, Camryn. They were both the best Pack leaders you could ask for.

"Dude do you smell that?" I asked, stopping and smelling the air.

Pine Forests and meadow flowers.

"Uh...I think your going crazy man. Do you need to see the pack docter?" Alpha Kayden asked, quirking a brow.

"No! The-the Pine Forest and Meadow Flowers smell!" I growled.

"Err...Come with me." My friend said slowly, dragging me away from the scent.

Then it hit me.

"MATE!" I growled suddenly, thrashing in Kayden's grasp.

"Dude stop! Your going to hurt yourself!" He snarled, calling over pack members.

Before I could register what was happening, my wolf Streak howled in my mind.

MATE! Must find her!

My wolf took control of my body before I could stop him, and he ended up socking Alpha Kayden in the chin.

Streak and Kayden's wolf Xavier stood off, both in a fighting stance.

Thank god we left the school building.

"MATE!" Streak howled again, leaping away.

Xavier snapped an order to stop me, and before I could take another step I was down.

"Let me up! Let me up!" My wolf shrieked, Kayden now in control again.

"Streak look at me and look at me good." He growled.

"I know your excited about finding her and all, but you can't go to your mate in this state. So I'll ask you once to calm the crap down." Kayden shrugged.

As a reply, Streak snarled

"Sorry man." the Alpha sighed and stuck a needle in my neck just as a very ticked luna came out.

Luna Camryn.

"What the heck is going on here?" She snapped, charging towards the pack members on me.

Kayden growled, warning Camryn but she ignored him, her face screaming anger.

She grabbed the waist of a guard and threw him across the school yard.

The rest of the pack members tried to make a run for it but Luna Camryn caught them all, one was grabbed by his foot and thrown in the air then caught again, then got thrown into the ground leaving dirt marks.

"KAYDEN MARK RIVERLING HOW DARE YOU TRY AND SEPARATE HIM FROM HIS MATE!"

Kayden's eyes widened and he dashed, trying to outrun her.

Nope.

Luna Camryn tackled him from behind, her face red.

"H-Hi Cam." Kayden offered, smiling weakly. It was kinda funny actually, to see the Alpha all scared like that. Of his mate too.

"Don't you 'Hi Cam' me, you dog! Go to the pack house now!" She barked.

"Yes love."

"Yes what?"

"Yes Camryn." Kayden muttered, keeping his head low.

Then my Luna's head turned towards me.
