9 - Swagger comes and Goes but deers are Forever

Boog's fists started lighting up in yellow flames. You stared at him in bewilderment. He caught your eye and looked at his fists. "What? Vampires have this." He scoffed. "You probably read that twilight trash."

He dramatically looked away from you and started running at Oz. He jumped and raised his fist up, screaming like a maniac, and attempted to crush Oz, but Oz quickly drew to the side. Your eyes widened. What kind of weird anime fight is this. You noticed they were still in your ridiculously expensive beautiful apartment. You grabbed a huge lamp and swung it over your side, and then hit Oz so hard he flew out of the apartment. "NOT IN MY FUCKING HOUSE." You bellowed. "I MAY BE TOO RICH FOR THIS BUT I DON'T LIKE WASTING MONEY."

Boog practically flew outside as Oz tried to jump back into the apartment. Boog punched him it in the face and Oz stumbled backwards, but managed to keep his position. He started sparkling purple and launched at Boog, and Boog started walking back. They went on like this, as Oz was charging, and Boog kept moving backward. They kept going until they turned around the corner. You sighed and looked around. What a fucking mess.

But now that you think about it .... where's that tall ass British pastry?

You weren't able to finish that thought as you were being teleported. Sparkles and comets danced around you as your apartment vanished and transformed into the place you never thought would come back to; that stupid cozy room that you met the pastry in your dream. You starting pouting and stomping your foot. This isn't FAIR. Your so rich you don't deserve this.

You heard movement coming from behind you. Before you could turn around, the flan walked in front of you, looking all smug. He looked at you. "You didn't think you would get far, did you? I'm a FLAN. And a wizard. It was that easy." You rolled your eyes and sat on the couch behind you. "Just get it over and kill me already. I'm so annoyed. I'd rather die right now confident and rich with all my money instead of afraid and insecure." He stared at you like you had two heads. "Hot damn, you really weren't listening to me earlier. Nobody is killing you." You looked at him with surprise. "Then what the HELL IS ALL THIS?" You practically screamed. "Can I just SETTLE in this town??"

He sighed. "Oz is ... a special case. While what Boog said about him was correct, Boog is hiding something. A dark truth. You see.... he's one of the most feared citizens in the town next to Boog. You remember all those towns being completely wiped out in 2010?" You nodded your head. "Him. And you know that country with all the citizens missing?" Once again, you nodded. "Also him. Don't believe me? I have newspapers to prove it. Articles and articles." He threw a huge stack of papers on the desk. You fumbled through them and found a bunch of Boog's mugshots smacked on the front pages. "I...I don't understand." You stammered. "So why is Boog keeping this town alive? And what does any of this have with me?"

"With that .. I don't know. Boog is indeed a mystery. But my point being is, both of them are dangerous."

"And you...?"

Flan went silent.

You stood up. "Why are you so interested in what happens with me?"

Flan shrugged. "I.... don't know myself. When I first saw you enter Galaxy Hills there was something about you. You weren't like ... others girls. Your just .. so quirky and unique I just can't place it."

You blushed. "That's very nice and all, but I can't stay here. I have to prepare to teach in the next weeks."

Flan nodded. "I understand that." He said in his really really British accent. "So that's where we need to be careful. Stay here, at least a week, and we'll see what happens from here."

"How can I trust you?"

Flan hesitated for a moment. "Well, I .. I saved you didn't I?" You cocked a eyebrow. Definitely suspicious. But you need to be careful.

"Alright."

You both shook hands. And Flan went out of the room.

You stared at the fire crackling in the back. What awaits you in the future?
