🏐Bokuto's Promise🏐

Y/N's POV:

Bokuto seemed to be at the top of his game, I mean he did make a promise. Nekoma also seemed to be doing fine. The only team who was losing every match was Karasono. But maybe this match against Fukurodoni would change that. However I doubted it, maybe another day. The whistle blew and the referee declared Bokuto's team the winners.

"Nice one!" I complimented as the Owl head walked my way.

"Aw man!She's already choosing her boyfriend over her family. They grow up so fast!" Tanaka remarked

From a distance, I could see Kuroo turn his head as he watched us. Stupid Tanaka, Bokuto isin't my boyfriend. He's just a friend, I think.

"Did you see that?! I won! And...I also didn't throw a fit!" Bokuto exclaimed.

"Thank God for that..." A voice said.

I turned to see the guy from yesterday, I still didn't know his name.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!" Bokuto angrily replied. "That's not very nice Aakashi!"

So his name's Aakashi. Akkashi then looked at me and rolled his eyes as he seemed to tell me 'don't mind Bokuto's childish behavior' I gave him a slight smile and in return he nodded and then left.

"So since I won, you have to do whatever I want!"

"But that wasn't part of the deal!" I whined.

"Well too bad!" Bokuto said as he crossed his arms.

"Fineee!" I couldn't help but smile.

"There's this new cafe near camp and I asked everyone from my team but no one wanted to go with me! You have to come! I heard the cake there was good!"

"But you already have enough cake." I said as I stared at his ass.

"Oya? Oya?"

"N-nothing! Sure why don't we go check it out? When are we going?"

"Right now, hurry before Aakshi figures out I'm gone again!" He said as he ran towards the exit.

"Wait up!" I said as I ran after him.

"Try to catch up to me Y/N!" Bokuto exclaimed as he ran farther away.

As I passed the court that Nekoma was playing in, I couldn't help but feel that something was different. Their vibe seemed off, like their hearts werent into it. I looked at Kuroo, he really was handsome...

At Cafe

"So what are you going to get?" I asked.

"Everything! You?" The owl head happily said.

"I don't know yet..."

"Feel free to order anything, I know I am!"

I stared at the menu trying to decided. Why did everything look so good? It would be impossible to decide! Bokuto and I had sat in a table towards the back near a window.

"May I take your order?" A waiter asked.

"Everything!" Bokuto answered.

"How about you, ma'am?" The waiter turned to me.

"Ummm...I..." I still couldn't decide but I knew I was taking to much time so I answered the first thing that came to mind.
"What he's having."

"Alright."She said as she left.

When I realized I had just ordered the whole menu I felt embarrassed. Damn it! Bokuto must be upset I wasted his money.

"Hey,hey,hey! I like how you think! Ordering the whole menu such a bold move! Now we can both be fat together!" He said as he smiled.

"You're not mad at me?" I asked.

"Oya? Why would I be? I also did the same thing." He reassuringly said.

"Yeah but it was through your money and I just wasted-"

"I mean if you really feel bad then you can invite me to eat next time." He smiled as he closed his eyes. "Oh the foods here! Well some of it, let's eat!"

At Karasuno's territory

"Woahhhh! You brought back cake!" Hinata said in amazement.

"Oh wow! You're so cool Y/N!" Nishinoya also said in amazement.

"I mean it's just cake." Tsuki smartly said.

"And its just-"

"Tsuki, please dont start a fight." Tadashi interrupted.

"Whatever." He said as he gave in.

"Make sure not to eat too much." Suga called out.

"Yeah we still have to play tommorow." Daichi announced.

"Hey Tanaka, let's have an eating contest!
Y/N, are you in?" Noya asked.

"I had too much to eat today." I repplied.

"Well I'm down!" Tanaka replied.

Back at the Cafe, Bokuto and I couldn't finish everything. He decided it would be best to share with our team than let it go to waste. Maybe I should bring some to Kuroo.

"I'll be right back!" I said as I grabbed the nearest box that held a pastry.

"Be careful." Suga called out.

"Will be!" I exclaimed.

I walked to Nekoma's room and knocked on the door. I held the cake tightly as I waited for the door to open.

"Coming." I heared a team member call out.

"Hey, is Kuroo here?" I said as he opened the door.

"Hey Kuroo! Theres a girl out here waiting for you!"

I heared footsteps as they walked towards the door. The guy went back in and instead Kuroo came out.

"I brought you cake." I said as I smiled.

"Oh, thanks." He said as he grabbed it. He seemed to have the same vibe as Kenma.

"Alright...well I'll just go back now. " I said as I slowly left.

Kuroo's POV

I should call after her...so why cant I? Sure I just saw her hang out with Bokuto and what's it to me if their dating? I sighed.
This is the first time I've actually liked a girl...the first time that it wasnt just for the pleasure. Why...does she make me feel this way? Why...?

I head back in holding the tiny box she gave me. I sit down next to Kenma and open the box. The cake is in a heart shape.

"Are you going to eat that?" Kenma asks in his same boring tone.

"N-no! I mean yes." Damn it why did I stutter.

"Oh." He repplied.

I placed the cake near me as I layed down. I tried to sleep considering I had a big game tommorow but I couldnt. Why do you do this to me Y/N? I thought of the cake she had given me and blushed.
