Y/N'S POV

At the camp

"C'mon Kuroo! You've got this!" I shouted as I watched him play. Just one more point for his team to win.

I watched as Nekoma played, they were so flexible,they could retrieve any ball,almost like cats... I watched as the team played when my eyes drifted towards Kenma. He was cute in his own sort of way. The only thing I couldnt understand were his black roots in his hair but it seemed to complete his appearance.

A whistled blowed and it brought me back to the real world. I high fived Kuroo as he made his way over to me.

"Nice one!" I complimented him.

"Thanks. That was our last game, I'm going to head back. Catch you later."

"Well played Kenma!" I said as I clapped my hands together in excitement.

"Thanks." He replied not really into it.

"Fine dont set to me anymore! I dont deserve you guys, I'm just going to get in the way!" A voice cried.

I was surprised when I realized it came from the owl head. He didnt seem like the type to throw a fuss...but on second thought, maybe he did.

I watched to see how their teammates would react but they seem unfazed. Suddenly, their setter tossed to Bokuto as he perfectly hit it. He really is a sight when he hits it...

His teammates sighed as they began to compliment him. I laughed at how childish he was. Bokuto then began to blabber on how good he was as his teammates secretly rolled their eyes.

They began to pack up as they finished their match.

"Hey, Bokuto!" I said as I playfully tapped his shoulder.

"Hey, hey,hey! Did you see me? Did you see how cool I was? I was totally cool, right?

From the corner of my eye I saw as a guy with black hair rolled his eyes and give me a slight smile for the quickest second, it was their setter.I then looked back at Bokuto.

"You were amazing! No wonder you're in the top five." I said, taking the hint from their setter.

"Yeah, yeah. I know, I'm awesome."

"Just one thing." I said with a sly smile.

"Oya?"

"That fit you threw was pretty awesome, you should teach me  that sometime , Mr. Dont set to me!"

"H-hey!" He said as he blushed.

"It was so childish!" I jokingly said.

The owl head then bowed his head as his hand held the side of my shirt.

"Tommorow...I'm going to win for you and I'll try my best to not throw a fit."

"I believe you." I said as I smiled at him. "But if you break your promise then...I'll do whatever I want to you! Got it?"

"Hey,hey ,hey! Sounds like a deal!"

"Well let's go back to the cabin." I smiled.

You can sleep with our team tonight if you want? We also have a mom, his name's Aakashi. Which I understand if you dont want to becuase he's scarier than Sugawara."

"Sounds really tempting but in the short time that I've been here... Kurasuno really feels like my family. I love hearing Hinata's and Kageyama's constant bickering , Noya's and Tanakas dumb remarks and jokes, Tadashi's soft side, how safe I feel with Suga, how Daichi comforts me and makes me feel less nervous. I also really love the roast battles me and Tsuki host every night." My heart felt warm at the thought of having a family.

"Ah! I'm so sorry for rambling on! All you did was ask one question but it's just I've never really had a family before..."

"Yeah I get what your trying to say." Bokuto said as he gave a reassuring smile. "Well then, we should get going!"

Karasono's Territory

"I'm back Mom." I said as I entered the room and slipped off my shoes .

"I was starting to get worried about you. Good thing you're alright." Suga smiled with his eyes closed.

"Hey Sis! Come check this out!" Noya called out.

"Coming!"

"Look!"

As Nishinoya showed me a stupid trick I couldn't help but smile. This was my new family.

"Pretty cool, right?" Noya cheerfully asked.

"Bro that's so cool!" Tanaka joined in.

"Simple creatures." Tsuki commented.

"Hey, want to know what else were simple creatures? The dinosaurs, no wonder they all died at the first sign of danger. They all burned but now that I think of it, you seem kind of heated. I wonder if its Tadashi making you turn red." I answered back.

"Well-"

"Calm down you guys." Daichi interrupted.

"Hey guys, can I ask you something " I said as I stood up

"Yeah?" The team asked in unison.

"Do you guys...think of me as family?"

"Hell yeah!" Noya said as he ran towards me to hug me.

"Yes!" Hinata said as he jumped onto me and hugged me too.

"Well, yeah." Answered Kageyama.

"Of course." Daichi and Sugawara both said.

"Yeah." Yamaguchi smiled.

"Hmph." Repplied Tsukishima.

"Of course!" Tanaka replied!

For the first time, I had a family .

The next day

"Looks like today's match is Karasono vs. Fukorodoni" A coach remarked.

"Hey, Hey, Hey!" Bokuto greeted.

"Hey kitten." Kuroo also greeted.

"Hey, can I also call you kitten? Or maybe you can be the one to call me Kitten cuase you're gonna hear me meow 🎶. Just kitten with you! No pun intended."

"Start warming up!" Nekoma's coach yelled.

Kuroo then winked at me
"Gotta go now Kitten."

"I'll win for you today!" Bokuto promised as he too went to get ready.

I couldn't wait to see who won.
