"You know we all had wings once," San said tracing patterns on your back, his delicate fingers sending shivers down your spine, you were weak beneath his touch.
"that's why we have shoulder blades." He paused for a second to look at you.
"It's where our wings used to be." San was propped up on one elbow and facing towards you as his hand moved slowly across your back. He met your gaze, his eyes were heavenly pools of hazel that you found yourself lost in. You were laying on your stomach and a thin blanket was covering the two of you from the waist down as you both lay naked in the candlelight bedroom, enjoying the calm atmosphere that surrounded you.
"And one day we'll all have wings again." He said softly.
You smiled, running your fingertips along his jawline and leading his face down so your lips met.
"I love you, angel." You whispered, gently pressing your lips against his.
These were the moments you lived for.
