Right now we're all at Summer nights lights  and Oscar is still laughing at Jasmine being puked on, "oh, i swear to god, I think I saw an entire churro on your back" Oscar laughed, Jasmine faked laughed before speaking up "I'm gonna get us some drinks" she says as she leaves. "I'll take a Corona—but I won't need a line, I'm gonna grab one out of your hair" Oscar joked

As he laughed he turned around and his smile dropped, I look where his looking to see a couple of guys. But I don't recognize them, "I'll be back" Oscar says as he started walking Cesar stopped him "You Sure?" Cesar asked

"19th street ain't gonna start shit here—too public"  Oscar says as he walked off

"Hey, you wanna play some more games?" James asked, "sure" I says. I looked at Oscar one last time before turning to Cesar, "I'm gonna go play some games" I tell him and he nods as his response, I take James's hand and we walked towards the games

We was waiting at a few games but because the lines were too long we kept walking away instead, right now James is playing the basketball game to try to win me a stuff animal but I'm focused on Oscar talking to those guys, I know I shouldn't be so worried about Oscar he can definitely handle his own.

I'm more worried about whoever he's talking to, and what exactly are they doing here

"Yes!" James cheered, I turn back to him "which one would you like?" He asked, "uh I'll take the penguin" I say, pointing at the penguin wearing a bow tie and a eyeglass. The guy got the stuff animal down and handed it to James who gave it to me "thanks" I say

We take each other hand before walking off. All the other games were super crowded so were the rides so we just stood and talked for while, "hey the food stands are clearing up— you hungry?" James asked me, "no—but can I have a drink?" I asked

"Yeah, What you want?" He asked

"Lemonade—please" I smiled

"Alright—no problem, I'll be back" he says as he lets go of my hand and walks away, at first I stood still waiting for James to come the back, I casually looked around at everyone either talking, eating or generally having fun. I smile at the kids running around with a huge smile on their face.

My smile faded when I saw some guys walking around they just looked suspicious, I recognize the purple bandana that hung in their back pocket. and something told me to check on Oscar, so I left the spot where James had left me, and I walked towards Oscar as he was still talking them

I didn't want to make anyone threaten by me, so I hid behind a tree that was the closest to them. I watch them carefully as they talked, I tried to listen to what they were saying but it was just to noisy from where I was standing. But I kept watch just in case

A few seconds had passed and they are stilling talking and I'm still hiding behind tree when I feel a tap on my shoulder, I jumped and turn around to see James behind me with a wet shirt "what happened to you?" I asked

"There was a fight that broke out—right behind me, I got pushed and I spilled the drinks— I'm sorry" he says, "it's fine" I smile

"I was looking for you—what are you doing all way over here?" He asked, I turn my head to see Oscar and those other guys are gone, I looked back at James, "no reason— I thought I recognized someone from high school" I say making up an excuse

"oh—can we stop by my car, so I can change my shirt?" He asked

"Sure" I say
