she's as brave as the lion
in the jungle
but then
she can be as scared as Daniel
inside the den
she's as hard as a diamond
she can also be as soft as
a cotton ball
she can be anything
you want her to be
that's how she loves, unconditionally
the tulip continued to bloom
with her want-to-be groom
they swayed with the breeze
of the winds that keep them at ease
they looked at each other
the tulip curved her lips
"keep me blooming."
she let out a soft whisper
but then
he acted as if he doesn't hear her
