in the woods
in the middle of the cold night
they were silent
but she's tormented
he picked one of her petals
she didn't flinch
she didn't move an inch
she endures the pain
and ensures that he's okay
she doesn't care about herself
she's not selfless
she's not martyr
she's not stupid
but she's scared
