With your dufflebag hanging on your right shoulder, you skipped over the white lines outlined on the road, all while practicing your riff and runs as you walked.

This could've been a peaceful morning for you, but the guard loosely trailing behind you just reminds you that you are still under your mother's watch.

You literally just want to explore Paris on your own.

And yet, you still need to use the Bakery as an excuse in order to do so.

Despite living here for all your life, you haven't really traversed the city on your own.

All your attempts to sneak out was practically in vain since every inch of the house was heavily guarded.

You're honestly sick of that life.

You wanted to be a normal teenager like the other kids were.

Everytime you went out, it's practically all the familiar routes you've ever been accustomed with.

School.

House.

Hospital.

Bakery.

Modelling shoot.

House.

House.

Did i mention 'House'?

You took a single peek at your bodyguard, a small smirk tugged on your lips.

you can take this an advantage, you thought. Besides, he's new.

so, you did.

take what you can get, am i right?

You acted your dorky little mischievious self, trying to not seem suspicious by innocently placing you hair behind your ears as you carefully put on your jet black headphones given to you by your father.

your dad—is a good dad to say the least.

he's a decently known-stunt actor in the industry but your mom kept him in the shadows solely for the reason that she thinks he was not a good impact to her career. you were also planned to be kept a secret not until she grasped it as a good idea to utilize you as her rightful sucessor.

She even changed your last name with hers, she erased the only trace that you had your dad's blood.

All for the sake of fame.

as much as you also loved your dad, he was still busy with his own work. He was never home, (as suggested by your mom so that the press won't trace who her husband is)

but atleast he's in Paris. And he does visit you on limited occasions.

There's no need for a debate whether to say your parents are still inlove with each other, it's obvious that they're not.

Maybe they were at some point in their lives, but it was not bound to be forever.

they were married with their careers, not with each other.

you, you kept them tied.

They weren't lovers, but they're still your parents.

Maybe that should be enough, maybe that's the price you had to pay.

That was a lot to take in as a kid, but you've grown to accept it as that's the only option you had.

You smiled at sight of yellow dandelions grouped together in a distant plantbox, that wasn't your mom's favourite flower.
